Tanix TX6 Smart TV Box Android 9.0 tv Box 4GB/32GB 4K TV Allwinner H6 Quad core ARM Cortex-A53 H.265 Decoding 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi Smart TV Box

This has Android 9.0. First, they have made it so the Chrome browser can't be deleted, only disabled. I don't want Chrome on any of my devices so 9.0 will stop me looking further at new Android TV units that have it. Second, when using the arrow key to navigate, there is a loud pop each time you press the key. It's loud and does not adjust with the system sound and after researching the Net, I could find no way to shut the sound off or adjust it's volume. Very disappointed as I was using this to replace my Tanix TX 92 and hoped for the best. Not this one though.

Ok. This box has potential. But i am running this on a tether so of course mileage will vary. I have wanted to love this alot. But the 4gb ram is really 2gb after starting the box. It drops wifi. It hangs when you watch movies longer than 1hr 15min. The ram just cant handle much. My phone runs android 7. It destroys this things performance. Tanix just doesn't pack the punch of the "top" brand of this particular box. Buy the Pendoo version and be happy.

Plugged it in but nothing turned on. Cables and TV were all tested with a Zidoo TV box and worked perfectly so this Tanix TX6 was deemed dead on arrival.

Remote is not great. But the box is very good. Highly recommend.

I wanted it for streaming but it's really difficult to use the remote is hard to useNothing like a fire stick

Arrow key navigating sound can be removed. Fast tvbox!
