The Lumineers - Cleopatra Songbook Kindle Edition

This review is for the Kindle version. It's okay, not great. The chords and TAB will get you in the general neighborhood of sounding like the album. One example would be the song Cleopatra. The chord chart shows playing an A flat barre chord, but to sound like the record (and to make it easier to play) you would play a G chord with a capo on the 1st fret. Also, the music and tablature does not translate well to Kindle, at least not on my Droid and laptop.

I love this CD, and now love this piano book. I bought it for Patience, but was surprised by how nicely the other songs hold up as piano solos. It is best suited for intermediate piano players

My son loves this! This is his favorite band and he needed a “fun” book per his piano teachers instructions this year, so this was the obvious choice!He now can play the songs he loves so much!

I have played piano for almost 30 years, but not many lessons, so on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd say my skill level is around a 5. This book is probably about a 4 on that scale. I was able to sit down and start enjoying songs immediately. Some of the songs work great on piano alone, others really need a rhythm instrument to be added to the mix to reproduce the original sound. If you like the band, you'll love the book.
