UPDATE: I bought 2 of these, and I was really hoping that they would work out for me. Unfortunately not! In fact I feel I've been ripped off. Here's why:Customer Support: Absolutely atrocious! The documentation that came with the cameras asks the user to contact Customer Support before giving a bad review, and it promises a reply within 24 hrs. It is now 48 hours since I sent an email to them, and I've received no reply. They did reply to a question I posted on Amazon, but they did not answer my question. Instead they gave me a trite, patronizing answer that was not relevant to my question. I left comments for them as an attempt to clarify my question, but after 36 hours, they continue to ignore those comments.Problem With Playback of Recordings Triggered by Motion Detection: I originally had severe buffering issues on one camera, but that disappeared after a day. However, now most recordings play only about half-way through, and then they stop abruptly. The other camera will not record at all. See "Memory Card vs. Cloud" below.Memory Card vs. Cloud: I bought memory cards specifically for these cameras. I inserted the cards, formatted them, and selected “Play Videos From Memory Card” in settings. However, one camera forces recordings triggered by motion detection to be stored on the cloud, not on the memory card. The other camera does not store recordings at all, telling me that I do not have a cloud account. Manual recordings are stored properly on the memory card on both cameras.APP: The Tosee app is buggy and irritating. If you're considering buying this system, please check out the reviews for this app on Google Play before buying - there are many unhappy users!I'm not sure if I got 2 defective cameras or if all of the 5-star reviews are fraudulent. In any case, these cameras are horrible, and I am returning them.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I will revise this review if/when I hear back from CTVision's customer support. The camera records fine when it detects motion (although the recordings tend to start late sometimes). I store the recordings on an SD card. The problem is that it takes FOREVER to view each 15-second recording! I can view only 2-3 seconds of a recording at a time, and then it buffers for 20-30 seconds. At first I thought maybe my wireless network was too slow, but I found that if I manually record using the "Record" button in the live view, I have absolutely no trouble viewing those recordings.If customer support can fix this, I will upgrade my review, however, as it is now this camera system is useless as a security camera if it takes me 5 minutes or longer to view each triggered recording!

The camera and solar panel looks nice. The camera has a silicone cover to give some protection from the elements. It looks nice but is absolutely horrible in function and performance.Hook up was relatively easy requiring access to your router and all the nosy information it needs to spy on you or take your information. The display has severe lag. There is audio which is a cool but it's not loud enough.The IR works well giving you a clear night vision but the motion detection is horrible. It doesn't work. Video playback is non existent. Playback files are Panasonic Raw and won't play on anything. Not sure what you need to read that.This is pretty much useless. Unless you plan on having it on and connected to the buggy laggy app 24/7 and push the record button yourself and even then you can't review what you recorded bc there's no way to playback anything. It functions like a cheap knockoff. 😕

PROs:*Daytime picture quality is pretty good, stationary camera has a nice wide view.*Dawn/Dusk quality is ok.*Solar panel is a must and works well.CONs:*Dead of night vision awful*Sound quality not very good*Funky picture, 1st picture is what my house looks like and is how its laid out, 2nd picture, the camera on its own, mirrored the image / Tried contacting CT Vision - No response. No setting to revert it.

The first camera we bought was not working properly, however CTVISION sent me a new one and it is working perfectly. The vendor is great and really interested in the best service for clients.The image quality during the night is great, and the motion detection as well. I love it!

It worked very good initially, but when I had to reset my Wi-Fi internet network system, it never return back to functioning again.And I tried several times to reset it, but it still hasn't worked since then.I'll update this if possible if anything changes.

I can't get camera to hook up to Wifi or my router

Stopped working after a couple of days.. No apparent product support or replacement available.

the product stopped working 4 days after installing it, I don't understand what happened and now I can't return it
