Works great. I’ve bought from this brand before and loved their quality and customer care. The oil dispenser is very sturdy and can see that the glass is much thicker which immediately gives feel for the quality. We are using it for olive oil, filling oil is easy and pouring on the food is much easier than our current cruets. What I liked about this dispenser is I can control the flow with the tilt unlike my current cruet which has a narrow steel pipe that takes forever to pour and also causes oil to spill over the glass causing lot of mess. This one is functional in that aspect, the oil doesn’t drip outside but gets collected in the cap and goes right back inside the bottle, one major less worry for me. Cleaning looks very easy, with taking out the lid. The bottle mouth is wider which is more important for me to be able to use the brush to clean it, which was another challenge we had with tall oil cruets.Other advantage for us is, this fits in the kitchen small rack of spices, which is much more handy. It actually looks good in the kitchen, my kids are looking forward to use it for their pastry making. I’m looking at ordering another one of theirs with measurement marks for my parents and in laws. Using for few days now, will update my review if anything. I did not know a mess free oil cruet existed till I got this one.

I bought this oil cruet because it looked like it was a decent functioning cruet. I took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together carefully. I start using it that night and I noticed a pool of oil where I placed it. Thought that was a fluke, but no. It constantly leaked. I checked to make sure it was screwed up tight. It was. I know I put it back carefully together after I cleaned it, so I messaged the seller. They told me to take it apart and put it back together. There was no point. It is not rocket science, I know for sure 100% I put it together as it should have been.Anyways, it kept leaking, and I got tired of it so I took it apart, cleaned it, because the exterior of it was greasy and nasty. When I went to take it apart the metal sleeve that wraps around the glass came off. This is held together by some glue here and there. I guess the oil that has been leaking weakened the adhesive. I carefully put it back together, matching notch to seal etc. My wife went to fill it with oil, and when she tried to put it on our cooking rack, I hear glass shattering on the floor. She held the cruet by the bottle, but the sleeve slipped right off the glass (as there was no glue to bond the sleeve to glass together).I ended up taking a while just to clean the oil, the glass shards that flew everywhere on the floor. I do not recommend this product. I went ahead and searched for the oil cruet that I have used for years, the only reason why I didn't do that in the first place was because that company (Prepara) said they no longer made that model a few years ago. Anyways, apparently they still do. I bought it right away and chalk this experience up as a big mistake.

I was very unhappy with this purchase. Even though it has been over 2 months since this purchase (now beyond the return period) we just used them for the first time and the vinegar leaks from the cap before it comes out the spout. After making sure it was tightly secured that did not stop the leak. We were embarrassed as they were used for a guest dinner (as stated used for the first time) and there was spillage all over the table cloth and we had to use an old creamer as a temporary replacement. When a vendor leads their advertising statement with "leak proof" and the first thing that happens is that it leaks does not speak well for the product or the companies quality control processes.(Updated) the company sent me a replacement for the one that leaked even though it was past the warrantee. It works perfect and now I am very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this dispenser. I've been home a lot and thus cooking more than ever and my constantly leaking olive oil bottles were driving me insane. I wanted something stylish that worked well and this was it! I love the design, the glass is thick enough that I don't worry about breaking it, and the spout design really prevents leakage. Only caveat is you HAVE to have the silicone(?) washer in place, and the little spout must be oriented opposite to the very small hole that releases pressure in the lid. I made the mistake of misaligning them before and got spillage. But when I paid better attention to how I re-assembled it after washing, I had no leakage issues at all. The letters in the bottle were wore out making me think it was a used one and not new.

I have had one cruet for a long time, but decided it was time to have one not only for my olive oil but also for my canola oil. This package of two were such a good price that I got them and now have my olive oil in one and my canola oil. I love the way it pours. I really like that they are see through and that I know how much is left. I also love the lid that goes on them to keep them airtight which I have never seen on any cruet before. So happy with my purchase.

They are easy to use and to fill. However, It always leaks and I have to put a paper towel underneath it all the time. Not sure what I did wrong. It doesn't leak while I pour the oil out of it but it is always oily and leak.
