Don't waste your money
Bought this to handle mosquitoes at night at the lake house. Out of the box, one of the light just flickers, so is useless. I finally got it to stay on for an hour, and left the other one on for an entire evening.* Neither one caught a single bug. It was humorous to see mosquitoes flying around the light* The light they shed is an awful blue shade, and give off less light than a 25 watt incandescent, so not appropriate for room lighting* One light (the one that runs) was in pieces, and had to be put back together* Even if they did work, the build quality is terribleThese deserve zero stars. Back they go: a total waste of time and effort.

Very dim light
While the zapping part itself works great, the light output from this bulb is extremely dim.Not sure if I received a defective bulb or this is the normal output. I did notice the lumen output is nowhere to be found on the website description.This bulb is just to dim. It's at most 400 lumen output.

The blue light may or may not do anything but they do kill bugs
It's an inexpensive product and there's not much to it, but the wires do accumulate a lot of bugs so it's very clearly functioning.I don't live in an area with extremely high bug density so I have not actually witnessed an electrocution. The main lamp does not appear to flicker at all.

Nope! Main Light Lasted 35 Nights!
I put this in the entry hall on July 26th. I kept it on at night... I still got bitten by mosquitoes while sitting across the room reading.Today is September 3rd, the main bulb (not the blue one) burned out two nights ago..... The light lasted 35 nights!Certainly not worth the expenditure!

There's room for improvement!
I like that it has 2 functions as its a light bulb and a bug zapper! However, for me the bug zapper doesn't work as I've tried multiple times, installing it different spots for flies to get trapped but it won't work! I don't know the reason behind it but maybe because there isn't a "sweet" or sugary smell being emmited from the bug zapper which lures them in. It's just a thought for improvement :) overall, I would recommend this to other people because it might work for them and since it's very easy to use.

Did not do what it was supposed to do
This product did not kill a single bug in my house. I gave it 2 stars because I still use it for regular light so it would not be fair to give it less stars. I have bought a commercial grade one which worked amazing and have been using this as a regular bulb in my garage.

Doesn’t do it
I’ve installed it on my small balcony. We don’t live in a bug problem area, but wanted to cut down on the little we have. This thing doesn’t work period. Doesn’t do anything and the light is too dim so I’m going to put my regular bulb back on.
