There are so many of these waist trimmers to choose from, so I decided to take a chance on this one and I'm GLAD I did! I'm a 26 year old male, 5'6, 150lbs, and I had been looking for something to help me sweat a little more when doing cardio. I like to run, use the elliptical, and use the stationary bike. This waist trimmer is comfortable doing all of these activities, and admittedly it did take me a minute to figure out how to actually wear this (don't laugh). It secures by velcro in the front of your body, with straps on each side (as shown in the product photo) to help get an even more snug fit.This waist trimmer is VERY comfortable to wear and boy does it make you sweat even more for a more effective workout. I've been using it for a few weeks now and while I think it's too soon to say if it's helping shed pounds, it's definitely doing something right. Highly recommended!

I use this as a soft back brace. It reminds me to lift with my legs and not my back.Another benefit is that, it does reduce the size of my waistline; I can now fit well in my jeans, without my tummy bulging.I would say that this fits, maximum for MEN up-to waist 35 and below.

I bought this to support my abdomen after hernia surgery. Hospital wanted over $70 for something similar which I knew I would never use again. I dont really need to tighten it too much or it would irritate the bandaged incision, but it was easy to figure out my comfort spot rather quickly. Because of the back support it has also helped me get up after laying down without straining the area I am trying to protect. I wouldn't say I would wear it after I heal once I start working out again, but it has definitely helped me out for what I bought it for. I plan on using it when l move in a couple of months for the added back support. For these reasons and at this low price point, this item has served me well.

This is OK for back support, but it is too stiff if you plan on working out while wearing it. The material is like canvas and there is plastic boning in the back. I wanted to wear it while exercising, but the fabric, boning, and large velcro panels in the front made it too stiff to move in. A stretchy neoprene belt would be better for that purpose. This might be good for those looking for extra back support, it is comfortable, doesn't roll down, and the stretchy adjustable side panels are nice. Just be aware that it is thick and doesn't provide much freedom of movement.

The extra side bands to focus tightening is great, really pulls you in for appearance sake. I use it mostly to remind me to maintain good posture while sitting for work.

It works for the most part; I've used it working out, but the metal brace can be uncomfortable.

i purchased this because for less than $15.00 i figured what did i have to loose....so i gave it a try....I AM TOTALLY DISSATISFIED...this thing its not worth more than $15 as it is a total piece of crap.....it has 3 plastic rods in the back of it (i guess they are they for support).....these rods are poorly placed as when ever i put this thing on the rod to the far left continues to poke me in my side it is very annoying and irritating..becuase of this it makes it very uncomfortable to wear even for short periods and you certainly could not wear it to sleep in........update 10/5/15....i have worn this thing a few times since my purchase(only a few weeks ago) and the two straps used to pull it tight no longer stay in place...when u place them after a few seconds they loose the suction and snap away....this is not effective as a waste trimmer and is a total waste of money to purchase....save your money and purchase a more effective true waste trimmer cause this aint it...

Really bulky, it shows through your clothes. But it does do the trick.
