Turn your SUP into a sit on kayak by simply attaching this seat with 4 buckles. Adjust the straps to set your desired angle of support. Use the carry pack behind the seat to store your lunch or stuff for the day.

Added this to my SUP board and now I have a kayak too!
I bought this around Xmas time but finally got a chance to use it and I have to say I love it. I love to stand up paddle but my wife is a kayaker so keeping up with her can be a chore at times. It just so happened that a few days after I installed the D-Rings on my board and actually had the seat ready to go we had paddled out a couple miles and found ourselves facing a brewing storm. I converted my SUP paddle to the kayak paddle (if you are interested, look for the Imagine Surf harbor paddle) and popped this seat up and I was able to paddle back to shore almost as quickly as my wife in her kayak. We made it back just as lightning started so this really came in handy when it counted.I have a Tower paddle board. I actually own two, the Explorer and Adventurer so I added custom D-Rings (bought from Tower) to my board near the middle just behind where I stand typically and both boards worked out great with this seat. The seat is comfy and gives plenty of back support. It also has a generously sized pocket in the back to hold a water bottle, etc. Even if you don't have a Wakooda board, this is a great kayak seat to add to an SUP.

Best back support ever
Used my new backrest yesterday. Gave great upper back support which allows me to paddle stronger and faster on my kayak versus my old short, only lower back support seat. Also allows you to rest more comfortably when taking a break from paddling. Solid construction too. Highly recommend Wakooda backrest.

and last but not least the fantastic customer service
So I'm usually too lazy to review stuff but I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the product, the price, and last but not least the fantastic customer service, by none other than the company owner himself (^ as pictured above). The two pictures above with the man sitting in the seat and reclining in it were both originally taken for my benefit believe if or not. I have an imported tandem sit on top from Australia that was in desperate need of back rests and after sifting through dozens of "kayak" seats that were all too big and very expensive, I found this seat. It looked good online my only concern was I couldn't tell if it had a good and rigid frame that could allow for heavy leaning when my wife and I just wanted to lay back and float around. So I called Wakooda to get a better description. I got a hold of this kind fellow pictured above and without delay he insisted I wait until he could snap a few pics with him leaning on it and text them to me first thing in the morning. So sure enough he sent me a few picks in the morning, I asked if he could take one more with a steeper incline; he responded immediately and a few moments later I hopped onto his Website (same price with free shipping) and purchased two.The seats are indeed semi rigid with two stiff rods that act as a spine so they won't fold on you when you really lean on them. The padding is a soft gel like foam, the construction is solid, and the pouches are a nice touch. The seat is not super thick but I won't be using it any way as my sit-on-top seats are more like bowls hence the trouble finding a good fit. So if you're considering these seats, rest assured you will be in good hands.
