Impressive Inexpensive Light Set For Riding
The WasaFire Bike Lights Set-USB Rechargeable Front Light & Tail Light is a great light set, especially for sub $20 (US). The front light is a flashlight that snaps into a handlebar mount. I have had no issues w/the mount. It’s tight enough to stay in the position I adjust it to, while I am able to adjust up & down when I need to. I can & have used this mount to snap in a similarly sized charger for my cell phone on some long day rides. My phone mount is next to the light mount. The flashlight has a removable lanyard that is long enough for most hands/wrists. Those w/rather large hands may find it a bit snug. It weighs 5.5oz (155g) w/the battery installed. It measures 5” (12.75cm) long & has diameters of 1.3” (33.5mm) at head & 1” (25.5mm) at body. The battery is a rechargeable WF 18650 3000mAh 3.7V Li-ion. There is a rubber cover for the charging port. It seems to seal pretty well. I have ridden in a light rain/mist w/the lights w/out issue. The rear light use a single CR2032 battery. These can be found in most grocery & convenient stores. The rear light & strap weigh 0.6oz (18g). It measures 1” (26.75mm) in length & a diameter of 1” (26.75mm).The lights are plenty bright for riding. I use them almost every morning on my predawn rides. I run the rear light in the fast flashing mode. The front light, I ride w/on high, but switch to low when approaching oncoming pedestrians/runners or other cyclists. On high it’s bright enough to illuminate the path/trail ahead of me to be comfortable/confident but can be blinding to those coming towards me. On low, I can still see well enough as to still see far enough ahead, which is important, especially when it’s a group of runners. The one thing I wish this setup had, was a remote switch to turn on/off/toggle through the lights modes. It’s just a small hassle to reach to the center of the handlebars for the headlight & reach down to my seat post for the taillight. Doable, just would be nice. But like I said, sub $20.Overall, for a inexpensive, well built, entry level, flashlight/headlight & taillight set, this would be a great choice. BUT, if your looking to go downhilling at night, I’d say look elsewhere. Unless you plan on zip-tying this light to the mount, I’m not confident you wouldn’t lose it in a hurry. I don’t know for sure, I’m just saying...

Okay for trail riding, (Not recommended for street riding after sunset!)
What I liked:+Metal Design+Charges Via Micro-USB+Rain-Proof!+User replaceable battery+Plastic Bike Mount (no rusting!)+Free Taillight+Battery life indicatorWhat I disliked:-Bike mount is pretty hard to tighten-non adjustable light beam-Tail light not adjustableWhat I HATED: (may be deal-breakers for some)-Light beam is EXTREMELY unfocused, you'll get one bright spot surrounded by a huge dim glow.-Not even close to 1,200 lumens (not sure how they tested this)I was super tempted to drop this down to 3/5, but for now consider it a 3.5/5, the flashlight still works pretty well for the price,But I was looking to replace a flashlight I've been using for 6+ years, and even at around the same price, the old ones still way better! This one wastes SOO much light, the area surrounding the bright spot's not even illuminated well enough to make out any details. With my old flashlight, even if I adjusted the beam to full with, it would have a nice uniform brightness all the way around, and I could tighten the beam to avoid blinding other bikers. This one just has a super bright spot with a glow at about 20% of the brightness, so it's not even that helpful. When you'd want a wide beam, you'd want the light to actually allow you to see everything in front of you, that's why having your brightness (even close to) being uniform is important, you need to be able to make out the little details, so you can be aware of any dangers.---Conclusion:---At the end of the day, the biggest problem is the beam, if you're riding a bike trail, or on a sidewalk, that should not really matter. So as long as you don't mind the massive light bleed, this flashlight is fine.I had no major problems using it as intended,No random shut off, no issues in rain, no issues removing it from the mount.
