Filling Your Bean Bag Bean Bags are easy to fill if done correctly - check out the instructions below. Open the bag from top. Inspect carefully your flat bean bag chair, checking for any signs of rips and holes in the fabric. Have a friend assist you in filling your chair. One person holds the chair open while the other carefully pours the filling into the chair. Fill the chair in a room with no breeze, so the light filling doesn't blow around and make the procedure more difficult. Close the zipper. Some zippers have locks to keep the zipper closed. Others have special patches to keep them safe around small children. You may need to give your bean bag a bit of a jiggle to get beans in the right place. Now you are ready to relax in your Bean Bag - Enjoy! NOTE: the filler (the wee white balls) are really light and blow everywhere if there is the slightest breeze - so close windows when filling. If you don't have a bathtub just use a room with plenty of floor space so you can see if there is any spillage and pick up straight away.
