Ideal little easy thing that has simplified a problem I had. If you're like me and fed up of casting issues (even though you have a totally stable internet connection), this is just a dead easy solution. I use it to watch work out videos, where any drop out is an absolute no-no, and this just works. I'm quite a fan of wired rather than wireless if I'm honest. Product feels durable, good purchase.One thing to note is that I couldn't get Netflix working with it - but then it says that it doesn't work with HDCP video protection, so this is to be expected.

This item unfortunately does not work at all. Connecting it to an new ipad and 4 different working monitors/tv's provides no picture. All connections were checked and double checked and cables work fine with other video supply so the fault is with this device. It seems that too many of them are sent out not tested.

I am so happy I bought this adapter. It was easy to use and very clear to connect with iPhone and TV . I can search movies, news.....anything what I want and display on the TV screen, even when I play Tiktok. It was pretty cool

Totally useless. Useless instructions. Doesnt work with iPhone - only iPad. Trash. Junk. Buy a proper one from Apple and save the grief.

I bought this to be able to cast my iPhone onto a Toshiba tv as screen mirroring wouldn’t work and I wanted to be able to see the FIIT app on a large screen. Very simple to use you just need the usb charger and hdmi cable with this, select the correct source (for eg HDMI1) and I had no problem. I also thought I’d be able to cast Disney+ but they have put a stop to that !

It's cheap and you can tell in the design but that is not a bad thing really. Just because it looks a bit cheap does not effect the function and it work absolutely fine and for that price how can you complain. Bluetooth from phone is great for listening to music although I sometimes have difficulty with people hearing me on calls.

I’d all but given up that the adapter would ever work. I’d tried it with different iPhones and iPads, and HDMI cables, HDMI slots on my TV. Then I used a different Apple charging unit and it worked. It now seems to do everything it claims to do, hence the four stars. I haven’t tried it with other chargers, yet. The one I used came with an iPhone 11.
