Yummy! Made a lamb and eggplant rendang and it was soooooo good. This great paste made it easy to cook up.

I’ve been searching for the most decadent sambal for a decade and fresh toasted sourdough, Rebel Cheese Brie & your Sambal had the whole house dancing around making yummy noises!!! Organic too. High praise! Everyone will get one in their stocking this year! lol

I really like the flavor to added to the recipes I have used it in. The price is a little high though.

love that it is organic but its not quite what you’d expect for sambal taste. first off it’s tiny. its slightly larger than those little jam or honey bottles you get with room service. it has a very thick pasty consistency and is extremely dark in color. the actual sambal taste is also mild to absent. Dollee Nasi Lemak sambal is a much superior taste but if you are looking for paste than this may work for you.

Add it to veggie or meat dishes. Easy to use, tastes great!

I am not one to leave a negative review but this particular product, for me, was not pleasant at all.It does not taste like any Laksa I've ever had or made before and again maybe this is just me, but I will not be using this again nor would I ever buy it again. It honestly has been probably one of the most unpleasant items I have tried in a long time.Of course everybody's tastes are different but for me this was a hard pass.I also noticed that the ingredients listed are not what is on the current ingredient label. For us the ingredient list was the deciding factor to try. At the supermarket and local asian stores the ingredients are soy oil and sugar based, none of the depth of flavor this paste has. I cant speak to the authenticity, but I can say the flavor it adds to my foods is terrific and have already repurchased a few times. Just waiting for the 6 pack to return.
