Mostly that the are very convenient
I accidentally stole one of these towels from aq nice hotel. When I saw them on Amazon, I purchases a few packs for stocking stuffers. Everyone loves the and great that they are black for a reason because the mascara etc doesn't look nasty when you clean your face and towels don't stain. More of a novelty then a necessity.

Super soft and great quality for the price!
Super thick and very nice! I was surprised by the quality and softness of these towels. I loved them so much, I bought a set for two of my daughters and my mother-in-law!

Leaves residue lint on skin
Great addition for my guest bathroom and my own as well. Great deal for the money. However they do leave a lint residue on your skin if you use one to dry with as well as wash.

Bought for nightly face towel after removing makeup to encounter traces of mascara left. It is velvety soft & very absorbent. Hangs on a towel rack which adds a decorative touch as well. Just purchased more for Christmas gifts!!!

happy with purchase
I ordered these towels for my guest bathroom. They washed up beautifully, are nice and soft, and a good size as well. I think these will work very well and I won't have to worry about make-up stains on my white towels any more.
