Good fan for use with fan control
I have had great performance from all my Antec fans. I have had some for over five years still in use after near continuous use. I needed another fan to be used with a fan control or fan control software. I am using this with Asus fan control utility. Contrary to other reviews it does report RPM and the RPM is controllable using the three wire header. I have three of these and one out of the three is louder than the others, even new out of the box but quieter than most other brands spinning at the same RPM and same CFM. I have tri-cool fans, they will report RPM to a fan control or fan control utility but you can not control the RPM from the fan control. If you are using a fan control or fan control utility these are a great choice. If you are not using any kind of fan control use the tri-cool or two-cool fans. If not it will run at top RPM and will be noisier than necessary. IMO even at top speed the noise is acceptable. It drives me crazy how many people will give a bad review because they got something that does not fit the application. ie I hate this fan cause it runs at top speed and I cant make it quieter. It's like saying this hammer sucks because it makes a terrible wrench.I like being able to control the RPM and pay attention to how much air they move at certain speeds so that the fans blowing in are moving slightly more air than the fans blowing out. This keeps all the air going in filtered(all my inlets have some kind of filter) and will not make a vacuum in the case drawing air from all the cracks and other openings. I have five fans on my case(all Antec) and having more than three can make your case a vacuum cleaner drawing in all kinds of dust.I have used four other brands of case fan and Antec is my go to case fan. They are quieter than most while moving comparable volume of air. Go with this model for use with fan control and choose the two-cool/tri-cool for use without fan control. All of them have the three wire molex plug and do have a PWM wire for RPM sensing. (they include the adapter from molex to the larger four wire using one power and one ground so if you don't have the three wire header the RPM sensing or speed control will not work)

Great Fan. and Great brand
Great Fan. and Great brand. I have 3 of these in an old pc for over 12 years and they are just now giving me problems. not bad for the price.I also forgot to include. that my PC runs continues 24/7 . in a shop with lots of dust.

Good fan
It's not too loud and the lighting looks pretty nice if you like that sort of thing. Only one speed - be sure to pick up Antec's variable speed models instead if you are going for the quietest fan possible.

have had good luck myself
Have had these in two to three builds now. Have had them last with good cleaning of cases from 3-5 years. I never pull the shut down on the computer all the time. So they have stayed lubricated. Never sitting doesnt leave the dust to form as easily. Its like the seals on a car, let it sit they dry out. Same with the bearings in the fans.

Antec fans always work correctly!
As the only 120mm fan that controls with 3 speeds this fan, for me at least, is the best. I have 2 900 Antec Cases and there fans have always worked. 1 of the cases is at least 3 years old and the replacement fan was for it. This case houses my WHS and only runs 24/7, so that is the only fan failure in 3 years for my Antec cases. Other fans have failed and that is the main reason that I moved my WHS to this case. I installed another fan on the side panel that lasted less than 1 year and so I replaced it also with another 120mm Antec 3 speed fan. The switch is really a temperature sensor that controls fan speeds.

Very loud fan
I bought this fan to replace one I had with loud failing bearings. I get it installed, fire-up my computer and it's almost as loud as the one it replaced with the bad bearings. The Antec fan I bought a few years ago for the rear of my case works great and is very quiet. I'm guessing this one should have been thrown in the reject pile.

Loud but good
This fan is loud i mean really loud it sounds like a generator. The fan looks amazing but it so loud. I use the same brand of fan on my new pc as my old pc case the difference in volume is day and night. If your looking for a fan for your case and it's under your desk this will work for you, but I have dogs and kid around my feet the case is on my desk this fan is not for you it's super loud
