This coffee is good, but it's too grainy. I actually need to dump the grounds in my grinder to grind them up some more. Otherwise the water doesn't strain through properly draining all of the good stuff with it. If it's put in loosely, you get mostly water draining out and a hint of coffee flavor. If you pack it just a little, it brews very slowly, but it does taste like coffee. If you tamp it with the normal 30 lbs, it comes out extremely slow and the coffee is very strong. There's just something about the ground bean size that does not work well with brewing. I haven't tried it in the chemex yet. Hopefully I will have better luck with that.

I purchased this coffee originally as whole bean and absolutely loved it. Great flavor and great company mission. To save time, I ordered it already ground this time, but the coffee ground is too coarse. The first time I made coffee it came out like lightly tinted water. I used my own grinder to make it more fine and now it brews perfectly. Overall a great coffee, but I don't want to have to grind it when it should be ready to use.

A true medium roast that has rich fullness no bitterness and tastes slightly nutty. I tend to like dark roasts; this is my husband's preferred roast but I could be a convert with this coffee. Plus a big deal to me is how the coffee is grown, and its impact on the land and people and I like to support craft/ smaller businesses. Seems to meet my requirements. The subscription is great-- never have to run out of coffee.

This is some of the best coffee Ive had in a long time. very smooth, great taste, not acidic or bitter at all. I'm kind of fussy about my coffee. I switched to a Kurig dispenser and have not found any type of coffee that I enjoy so I purchased the refillable filters/cups and tried this coffee in it this morning - VERY happy with it!

This coffee tastes great and makes you feel great too. It is Carbon Negative, Earth Positive! You must read about this company. It will warm your heart. I generally like very dark roasts but I bought this medium for the break room at work because many of my coworkers like lighter roasts. I was surprised how delicious I found this coffee to be.

This is a regular coffee purchase for my household. It is fairly smooth with a good flavor. I drink coffee black and this has worked out fairly well for us. I would recommend giving this a try as a replacement for the standard Starbucks coffee.

I think this is a very clean tasting, non-bitter coffee. But I personally like a little stronger flavor and just ordered the dark roast for my refill. But if I turn off the coffee pot, this coffee is still sweet the next morning - never gets that old coffee taste and is never bitter.

I was pretty skeptical about ordering this, a lot of coffee bought online or anywhere other than coffee shops turn out to be dissapointing. I can thankfully say this is some of the best coffee I've ever had. It's very flavorful and has no chemical aftertaste. I will definitely be ordering more!
