This mat finally got rid of the cats that would yowl in heat outside my window each night, and use one whole side of my house as a cat box. When applied to my dining room table to keep the cat off it, however, my cat eventually did figure out how to push it off the table. Cunning little kitty. The battle continues. Buy this mat if you want to keep cats out of your garden or specific places in your yard, but beware your indoor kitty may eventually figure out multiple, different ways around it. In the months between buying and that figuring, however, you will have peacefully clean, cat litter-free counter tops and tables.

I got these to place in my yard to stop a neighbor’s cat from attacking the birds in my birdbath and also to stop this same cat from jumping into my potted plants, digging them up and using the pots as a litter box. So far they have kept the cat out of the pots and I haven’t found lots of feathers or any more little dead birds so I’d have to say they are working as a deterrent on that cat.

like another reviewer, I've used the aromatic oils cats are supposed to hate, have used pine cones, and other things in my plant dirt to keep my cats out...nothing worked.these spikes are apparently sharp enough to keep the cats from walking on it (and out of my plants), but not too sharp to injure.one of my favorite ficus, the cats would have a field day digging (and peeing) in the large pot, but this stopped them in their tracks. I covered it with extra dirt and dried moss, so it doesn't show.I will be putting this on all my plants...yay!! highly recommend!!

One of our 3 cats pee'd on our futon sofa but wouldn't rat each other out. We had to throw away the mattress but we wanted to make sure it wouldn't happen again on the new replacement mattress.. I got this cat spike roll and rolled it out onto futon sofa. Had to bend it in the opposite direction to get the roundness out. We rool it out when we're not home or overnight. It has been over a month now, and not sign of sofa mischief so far. One cat in particular tried chewing on it, and even lied down on top of it but after about 30 seconds changed her mind. Pretty fun to watcg her trying to walk on the stuff.

Worked great for a feral cat problem. They kept using my yard as their personal kitty litter box. Well they haven’t been back since I placed this item in the yard.

No matter how much time was spent trying to straighten these out they curled up and fell out of position. They did not work in keeping a cat and a dog off of furniture.

The mats are fine, although they should've rolled them up backwards so they don't try to roll up on their own. Unwrap, reroll backwards, and leave that way for a day or two before using.The first one I received was missing the stakes, but the seller quickly sent out a replacement that did include them. Good product, good seller.

They worked for me keeping the neighborhood cats out of garden and parts of the yard I didn’t want pooped on and dug up. Problem is I ended up having to buy three rolls to cover what I wanted. That’s on me but it’s worth it not having cat business everywhere.
