OUYIDE 150 Watt Equivalent, LED Corn Light Bulb e26/e27 Medium Base 5000K Daylight, Non-Dimmable, 16-Watt UL Listed, 6-Pack

This review is written for the  OUYIDE LED Corn Light Bulbs 40 Watt Equivalent 550LM 5W A19 LED Bulbs Daylight 6000K E26 E27 Socket . I've noticed that the reviews on these bulbs seem to cover multiple products of varying wattages sizes and styles.I like these bulbs. In places where I want a smaller, less intense light source they work very well. If it's installed in a location where you don't actually see the bulb directly, like inside a refrigerator or under a range hood, it's perfect. If it's out where you can see the bulb, daylight spectrum can be a little harsh without a good diffuser like a frosted glass or plastic globe or a lampshade. That being said, daylight spectrum reflects well off of walls etc. and shows things in the same colors as natural light. I also notice that I'm satisfied with about 15 percent lower lumen output in a daylight spectrum bulb as compared to a soft white bulb.Although this bulb (the 40 watt Equivalent) is listed as an A19 size it's actually closer in size to an A15; which is only important if you want to use it to replace a smaller size bulb and need to know if it will fit. (A15 - A21 all fit the same socket and are interchangeable - except where bulb size is an issue, which is probably why they have an illustrated size chart in the photos on this listing.)

This bulb is what is called a corn cob LED bulb. It is a 5 Watt that the manufacturer says puts out 470 lumens. I would have thought that it was brighter than that. It really does put out a lot of light. I test many many LED bulbs and it just seems brighter. Made its the color of the bulb that has some to do with that. It is warmer than the stark daylight color, but it is not real warm in color. Just enough that you can tell its not daylight, but not as warm as stated. This bulbs color will not be confused with an incandescent by any means.I also tested this on a dimmer switch for those that have those and it had some problems with that, but for a lamp it worked perfectly. Screw base is standard size.Sample provided for testing.

I previously purchased 2 OUYIDE Spiral LED Corn Light Bulbs 200 Watt Equivalent 24W Daylight 6000K E26 E27 Medium Screw Base back in 2016 - provided awesome lighting in a large open attic. We just converted the attic to a livable space and the 2 24W were shifted to the outside area of the space providing awesome light. Needed a smaller light for a cubby hole space. These lights provide excellent light and seem to have a long life span. Haven't had any issues with temperature spans reducing light output, but do not run them 24/7 so no data on ultimate life span.Does what it's supposed to do and a decent price - just need to remember that these are large light 'bulbs' and probably not suited for table lamp use.

Bright light output, but only equivalent to 100 watt (not 150). Glass tubes of lamp are not sealed inside the bulb, so small bugs end up inside the tubes, where the LEDS are, if used in outdoor application, base up. Accumulation of bugs degrades light output, could cause lamp failure, and doesn't look good.

Relamped the entire congregation area in our church. Very pleased with the result. Replaced the yellow CFL's in the "milk glass" Joseph Eichler era suspended ball globes. Work perfect. 1 arrived broken & was quickly reimbursed. Would have preferred a replacement as the price has gone up $1.90ea. Still, a perfect low wattage, bright white high light output replacement for those miserable CFL's. Also uses less power in addition to all the other amazing features of these LED lamps.

I purchased this bulb for a floor lamp in a room with a vaulted ceiling. While not as bright as a halogen bulb, the color temperature is certainly a lot whiter; and is significantly brighter than mere 100W LED bulbs. Depending on room size, you may need more than one floor lamp, but this bulb certainly seems to be about as good as is currently available at a reasonable price. However, if this bulb should fail prematurely, I'll be back to adjust my rating. :-)

Great light! A bit tall but thats the nature of the beast! For the price and the savings it will give for an always on porch light, Been using for 8 hrs a night for 7 months and no issues

These lights are ideal because it's just so bright! And inexpensive.The only downfall is that it is long and could prove to be in a hazardous spot if on a low ceiling. I put it in my garage and I am afraid I'm gonna knock it and break it easily. It's been a month and I have not broken it yet however!Great purchase for money spent. And money/energy saved!

The description mentions 1760 Lumens. Comparing it to my 1600lumens bulbs showed a huge difference. MY 1600lm IS MUCH MUCH BRIGHTER THAT THIS 1760lm ! The design looked cool, was excited to try it, but it turned out to be a waste of time and money

It would not fit in my light fixture because it was so large. I ended up getting a different one that more resembled the size of a normal light bulb. The other/more expensive one I got was also much brighter.
