Nice warming vanilla red tea. I find it very rich and relaxing. I like it all the more for being organic and fair trade. I would like the vanilla taste to be a little stronger, might try a loose leaf variety next time. All in all, it's one of my favorites.

This tea is excellent. It has no caffeine but a delicious vanilla taste and a robust steep. Perfect in the evening. Shipping is fast and the price is very reasonable for the amount of tea bags contained. It is a large box of 80 tea bags. The packaging is not particularly slick but I sort of like that.

Wonderful tea ! I was hesitant to buy this online but glad I did. I make it into ice tea and with some stevia for sweetener is tastes great. It is top quality, even including the actual bags. I am glad there are no strings or tags on them. And the price is also good.

Watch out for 'natural flavor' which is in a lot of flavored teas. This is one of the few vanilla teas that have real vanilla pieces rather than artificial. 'Natural flavor' can mean anything, including non-organic flavorings. A healthy, non-caffeinated option

Delicious light flavor.

As I tea lover, I was excited to try Wupperthal’s rooibos vanilla tea at a discounted price for an authentic and unbiased review. I drink tea by the boatloads, so I was instantly allured by the 80 count tea bag. This product is organic and fair trade, so that also appealed to me. I got a freebie sample of lemon grass tea –yum! Upon opening the box of vanilla rooibos, I was greeted by a sweet aroma of vanilla. This was surprising as there were four bundles of tea bags, all safety wrapped in plastic bags—how the aroma was able to waft up to my nostrils must have represented the freshness of the ingredients up until packaging. This was also impressive to me and smart to not have all 80 tea bags exposed to air when opening the box. The tea bags are not all individually wrapped, which saves material. Instead, in each plastic baggie, there are many bags. Two of the bags are side-by-side and you can easily tear them apart without ripping the bag and having the contents fall out everywhere. Then they are stacked and packaged on top of each other. I also clip (binder clip, etc) to plastic to keep the rest of the tea fresh. Or you could transfer them to your own zip lock bag if desired.The tea bags themselves do not have a string, so you can just plop it into your cup. The bags have a silky web like texture to them, but rest assured that it keeps everything filtered. I had no problem having the tea steep quite quickly as well.Now onto the taste of the tea. I steeped the bag in hot (slightly cooler than boiling) water. I had a tall mug (as pictured), so I actually had to add two bags in eventually so that it was not dilute. However, do not be mistaken, as in a normal cup, the tea is still potent and has strong flavor. The nutty, earthy flavor of the rooibos was very smooth and slightly sweet. The vanilla was not overpowering and rather faint, but detectable. The color of the tea is a gorgeous reddish brown. I think that this tea is delicious and has many applications. I have made a type of “chai” with this tea, almond milk, and stevia, and it is amazing! I am obsessed that this is naturally decaffeinated, so it is a nighttime staple for me. That way, I can be sipping tea all the time. With the large count of tea bags, I am satisfied and am excited to be powering through this lovely box of tea.

I received this tea for a discounted price in exchange for my unbiased review.I love this tea! I won't be able to afford it at full price but it is an excellent tea. I love the rooibos tea in general. I made my tea as always, same process, same amount of sugar, yet this tea is very sweet. I will be able to save on sugar and therefore calories. Very strong tea compared to the ones I usually use. I won't need to use as many bags to make a pitcher, meaning I won't need to buy it as much. Next time, I'll try and reuse the bags and I'm fairly certain that it will still produce an excellent cup of tea the second time around.

Ohhhh, this tea is just divine! I'm not going to lie, I drink at least four cups of tea each day. Because I'm consuming so much, it's important to know that what I'm putting in my body is quality and also to not put to much caffeine in me. I also put a big emphasis on supporting fair trade products. That's why I was thrilled to have found this organic, fair trade tea!
