Writing Time: Montblanc Hardcover – September 6, 2011

This book covers it all with Montblanc and Minerva. I've been intrigued with Minerva watches for years and this was the first time I've found a detailed history of the Minerva brand with all of the history and complete break downs of the various models and calibers. The last third of this thick volume contains photograph after photograph of beautiful timepieces and there is even a fold out section of a fair selection of Minerva dials.I found the extremely detailed personal histories of Minerva to be some of the best ever written about Minerva despite there being some excellent articles on the company on the web. The authors of this book did amazing research and really went way beyond excellent in their presentation with both excellent writing and stunning photographs to really bring the Minerva story to life.The book arrived at my home in an extremely beautiful outer sleeve that protects the book and has the same cover as the book itself.The history of Mont Blanc, it's various pen models and detailed stories about Montblanc history and that of Minerva, which Montblanc acquired and saved from oblivion is just spectacular. It is a frequently referenced book when I'm looking at Minerva and Montblanc items and often the only source to find good information when I can't find it on the web.Finally, the book itself is just as beautiful as an object or art as any Montblanc pen or Minerva watch... Let's just say my copy is very lovingly treated when I'm referencing it.If you are a Montblanc or Minerva fan, you would do well to get this book. It is well worth it and you will not be disappointed.

This book is beautifully illustrated with so much information on the history of Mont Blanc.It's truly worth the purchase.
