Must use normal, not rechargeable batteries
I have some granite fixtures at home and was worried that the granite might be releasing harmful radon. That's the reason I bought this detector. So far, no harmful level of radon detected by the device. Hope this detector is really doing the job and not giving false negative.One thing I feel guilty of is that normal instead of rechargeable batteries must be used for this detector according to the instruction leaflet. I really don't know the reason behind the avoidance of rechargeable batteries.

That thing does not work at all ! Thanks PROFESSIONAL GRADE PRODUCTS of MN for selling us pure electronic junk, and of course thanks to AMAZON to enable another 3rd party seller to unload their bad stuff.

No practical value
Impossible to tell if this unit is working correctly. Alarm sounds seemingly at random. I have another type of radon detector & it shows levels below "safe" limits most of the time. If I'm to believe this unit though, the radon level spikes 5-20 times daily. If you have worries about the radon levels in your home, just put the money toward a mitigation system instead of buying this silly thing.
