This is a gift for my grand daughter. She had read one of the books at school and really enjoyed it. This is a surprise for her.

My son bought this series for me and I love it

I want to read more! Not an avid reader but love this series!!! Hulu has a series too. It's taking everything I got to not watch till I'm done reading!

Some small damage

It took me years to find books that keep my attention (Between adult ADHD, stress, life and kids...using my brain to try to sit and read was not high on the list). These are written so well that I was captivated within the first chapter and was able to stick with reading them quickly. Highly recommend.

I am an older lady and just read these books for the first time. I really loved them. So much in fact that I bought every shadowhunter book. I'm currently on the prequel the Infernal devices. I love this series as well!I just cannot stand the authors incessant usage of the word "crumpled". I was thinking of making it a drinking game but I might die lol(reminds me of the twilight books constant use of "inexorable" *I wasn't a fan of that series but I read the whole thing*I received the British version of the books I'm not sure what the difference is aside or saying how many £'s it was on the back. (I'm American)I would reread these I loved them that much and when I finish all of the books I want to reread them (eventually) in the recommended order. I think because I read this series first and then the prequel I missed out on understanding who certain characters were. Recommended order says TMI 1-3 then the Infernal devices then back to TMI 4-6. I wish I did that. But whatever I love the series
