MORETEK for Charge2 Band Tough Hard Hybrid Cover Dual Layer Armor Defender Case Wrist Strap for Fitbit Charge 2 Replacement Bands

This impact band for the Charge 2 has already proved itself capable to withstand impacts and protect the Fitbit remarkably well. I have already broken 2 Fitbit Charges because I spend a great deal of my time outdoors and/or doing the heavy lifting tasks of the household. This impact band recently protected the Fitbit when a stack of boards fell on my arm and when the pruner I was using fell off the fence and straight to the spot on my arm where the Fitbit is worn. No harm done except for a small nick on the screen protector I had also installed with the band. The material of the band is softer than the original band but does attract lint or fur much easier. I love the hole design of the band because water does not get trapped against the skin and dries better than the original band. The Fitbit is easy to pop in and out of the band for cleaning, to dry off or to charge. I did find it very difficult to charge with the band on but it is so easy to pop off you spend more time trying to get it to charge in the band then taking it out. Over the long term the clasp is a little cheap but the bands are remarkably affordable so purchasing a new one will not be a major drain. The one downside from my use is that the "box" where the Fitbit is housed should have some small drain holes for water which collects in the sides as I have found that water does get trapped around the housing of the Fitbit and does not dry well so I am constantly taking off to dry it out.

Update : With the string fix this band worked fine for 9 mjnths, a record for me. I'd consider buying it again.Previous review:I bought this 2 months ago and originally thought the design was brilliant. It protects the surface of the fitbit and is comfortable, easily to put together and lots of settings for tightness for comfortIt's breathable and easily washed.But two months in I discovered that if the band gets caught on anything... Laundry, backpack, jacket, a kid you are carrying... If the band twists the fitbit piece can pop right out and be lost. It's fallen out in my house (and once at the airport!) 5-6 times. Luckily I've found it so far but it's a shock to look at your watch and... Whoa the fitbit part is missing! I was thinking of attaching the fitbit to a little string and tying it to the band to keep it from going missing.It's a design flaw because the fitbit piece does not clip onto the band, it sits inside the rubber... If the band twists it pops out.Now...of course.... I've broken 3 prior fitbit bands including the original. I'm super hard on my stuff...Maybe... Maybe wearing a fitness tracker just can't match my lifestyle... But you'd think that somewhere out there is a band that won't break, bend, fracture, crack or rip every 2 months (or lose your fitbit.)Had I reviewed within the first week of getting this... 5 stars....but time tells all things... 2 months... And I'm back to looking for another fitbit band.

I really like this wristband for my Fitbit, it is much softer and more flexible than the bands that come with it. The breathability is good and it flexes when I move my wrist without it feeling loose. I haven't noticed any reduction in the accuracy of the heart rate sensor either. It does seem to dampen the vibration of the silent alarms a bit but the tap function seems more sensitive. While the raised bumpers do protect the screen more I would recommend getting a screen cover as well if you are worried about scratching. The Fitbit button on the side is flush to slightly inset with this band/case so it is also somewhat protected but that also makes it slightly harder to press it quickly. It is still possible to charge the Fitbit while it's in this case but you have to work a bit to get it just right, otherwise it is very easy just to slip the Fitbit out of the case and charge it out of the band/case.The only real downside to this case that I have found is that water collects and stays in the space between the Fitbit and the case after washing my hands, but again it is easy to take it off pop it out and dry it off.

I love the look of this band. The band is a bit too stretchy though. No matter how tight I put it, it has missed calculating my sleep several times saying the contact wasn’t good enough. It did always calculate my exercise. The end of the band strap also doesn’t stay under the clip that is supposed to hold it down. It doesn’t have the nubs on the underside to clip it into place like the band that came with my charge 2. I switched back to my original band. I would still wear this for looks and just walking around.

It's protective, but the silicone material collects dirt and dust like no other. I have to clean it everyday after work, which is a bit annoying. Also I thought the blue one was darker on amazon than it is. If you're looking for dark navy blue, this is not the wristband you want. I do like that it covers the entire fitbit...and with a screen protector, I don't worry about damaging it.

I've had my Moretek almost two years so I've had a few experiences. This is a great protector safety wise, however I have had the band come loose, at night only, on a few occasions.My other big issue is that I actually lost my fitbit from the inside of this band, and I didnt notice at first. Luckily I was at home and eventually able to find it.I would purchase this again because of the price, but I wouldn't consider this safe enough to be a high activity case if you are doing anything that could snag the band.

Not even 2 months old and the silicone has lost its shape and the Fitbit falls out. Totally not worth it at all. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

covers and protects the Charge 2 very well. Band is comfortable and seems decently rugged. Holds the tracker firmly and doesn't interfere with any sensors. Better (and very, very easy) to pull the tracker out to charge it than try to finagle around the band. Not exactly breaking any style barriers, but it works and works well.
