Etekcity Smart Dimmer Switch WiFi Light Switch with RGB Night Light, Works with Alexa, Google Home and IFTTT, Neutral Wire Required, FCC/ETL Listed

Took 10 minutes to install. It worked right out the box. Can’t say that for WEMO dimmer!. The WEMO would never dim the lights ,they want you to buy special LED bulbs. That’s dumb as they dim just fine with LUTRON dimmer. tried all three bulb selections and the same issue as everyone else had. Looks like it dims, but nothing. See pictures of both dimmers , they look identical ,but the Etekcity worked first time. It never asked for bulb type, it just works. Wish the dimmer range would go below 16%. But it’s pretty good. GET 3 of these for what one WEMO cost and these work. Works great on Alexa too. I’m buying more and dumping some WEMO. Love the night light ring around the face plate. Also wish there was a quick full on, but for $20 you can’t go wrong with these.UPDATE!!New firmware just released and it fixes the 16% issue. Now you can calibrate your lamps to perfection. I can run mine down to 1% now. WAY TO GO SUPPORT!!.

I got these to replace another brand (more expensive, returned for refund) that simply wasn't working for me. These switches and dimmers (own them both) are simple to connect (assuming you have no issues dealing with wiring) and pretty quick to setup. Like most smart switches they do require a neutral wire! Before you start to configure devices setup your account in the smartphone app if you don't already have one. One account for all their devices you'll buy.Don't let the flashing WiFi icon fool you - you will likely have to hold the switch for past 5 seconds which yields a slow WiFi blink to some 7-10 seconds which gives you the fast WiFi blink so you can find it on your phone. If your phone cannot see the switch WiFi hold the on bottom for 10 seconds till you get a fast flash again. After that there's not much to it. The entire install process took but a few minutes.Alexa integration requires a skill which is also quite simple to do if you have used skills before. If not, just follow the instructions. Yup, they work. I wish these devices could work without a central server (what happens if the servers disappear someday?) but as things are they work quite well.The dimmers work very well - much smoother than some other brands I have tried. No flicker at all on my inexpensive LED bulbs. I did not need any tech support so couldn't say if it is good or bad. In my book the best tech support is the one you just don't need. Yes, I do like the product - I currently own 4 switches and 2 dimmers. Will likely get a few more down the line.

Pretty easy to install in my brand new house, not sure about older home wiring. The instructions were mostly about downloading the app not how to wire the switch.One thing I missed setting up the app was to calibrate the lights. When you do this you adjust the light in the app down until it turns off then go up one tick. This tells the switch your minimum light power or 1% so you can slide the adjuster up and down now to get the full 100% range.I use an Alexa routine to turn my light on a sunset (offset -15 mins before) and one then another turns it off at sunrise.When the lights turn off they actually dim quickly then turn off, like dome lights in your car, but in less than a second.I wish the rbg ring could be made white as the other colors are a bit obnoxious in a nice room.I’m using this to run 4 led bulbs 2 different kinds and it works with no problems like flickering.

I am a huge Etekcity product fun and this is one is no different. I have multiple Etekcity smart switches and smart plugs in my house and I decided to give this dimmer a try. Overall, it is nicely built, looks great, the adjustable LED color adds a nice touch to it and setting is a breeze.However, I do have a couple of complaints that I would love to see them addressed:1- Dimming when turned OFF: instead of simply turn the light bulb OFF, it dims it down before completely turn it OFF... It would much better to leave the dimmable feature aside from the ON/OFF button.2- I am not sure if it is related to #1, but every time I turn it back ON, the light bulbs flick before completely lit. It could also be an issue with the bulbs themselves (I use LG daylight LED dimmable bulbs from Lowes). Without dimming features, these bulbs work flawlessly.Overall, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase and I would buy it again.

Easy to install. Easy to connect to WiFi. Easy to set % bright/dim (through the app once WiFi set up). Good looking (can turn off or change the color easily from app). Easy to use and read app. No flicker. Fit into my existing dual switch cover plate perfect (comes with a single plate too if I had needed)So nice when things work as well as advertised at a reasonable price. I have other VeSync WiFi outlets. This was my 1st switch (and led dimmable at that lol).I will stick with and buy more VeSync products for sure.

I have numerous switches installed din our home. They work really really well with Alexa. No trouble at all on the operational side. For installation though, you MUST have a white (common) wire present in the box you are installing into AND the box MUST be large with square corners on the inside. These switches are bulky and quite square, so rounded internal edges in the box will mean only one unit can be installed likely. Most modern plastic boxes sound work, but I've seen some older metal ones where the install was very tight and tricky.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this light switch. I love that I can control it anywhere. I also love that the light switch lights up, it makes it very nice when you come home to a dark house.The fact that I can set a schedule for the lights to turn on and off is my favorite part.Installing it was not too bad. My house is a bit older so I ended up replacing all the wiring in that section of the house and added led dimmable lights, which needed to be done anyways, so that whole project took me 2 days but If you do have new wiring in your house this would take all but 5 minutes. Overall Im very happy I got this switch over a cheaper non Wi-Fi switch.
