Dx Youkai Watch Fumi Ver.

This is awesome! The watch recognizes the medals with no problem, it has adorable packaging, and the toy itself seems very sturdy, but I don't know how much abuse it could take from a child. This is more of a "play with caution" toy, so as to not damage the medals or the medal reader inside. I highly recommend this, especially if you like the Fumi character. There is no way Hasbro would ever release this in America, due to marketing this series to boys, so if you want a girl's Yokai Watch, this is the one to buy. Just hope that whoever you're buying it for doesn't mind the Japanese language that it uses. AMERICAN MEDALS DO NOT WORK, JAPANESE MEDALS ONLY. Japanese medals are easy to find online, though.

This is a great alternative for Yokai watch fans that are girls. The Yokai watch is quite large and cumbersome on younger kids, but since this is a necklace, it avoids some of that.As others note, this is a Japanese model (songs and names in japanese), only accepts japanese medals - and only certain kinds (I purchased some japanese medals that fit in the slot but were incompatible).Even with the limited amount of compatible medals, it's so cute and fun that it's hard not to love it.

My daughter loves the toy. However the watch is not in english therefore is a bit dissapointed. Overall a fun toy that lets her play with her big brother.

When I told my daughter about this watch, she was initially upset because she does not know Japanese. Once she had it and her friend was super jealous over it, she changed her mind. She absolutely loves it. I just wish it worked with more generations of medals as she has several newer ones that will work in her Jibanyan One Man Show but will not work in this. I also wish it came with a normal Jibanyan medal because her sister got one with her American Yokai Watch and she wishes she could have one, too. Unfortunately, buying one online is way more expensive than I would be willing to pay for one medal.

I ordered this for my daughter who loves the Yokai watch series because the watches you can readily buy at the local target were too big for her tiny wrist. It took some time to get here because it was coming directly from Japan. Once it got here I noticed I the pre-recorded "sayings" we're all in Japanese! Lol. Also the Yokai chips you can buy at any of the U.S. stores won't fit into this one so consider that before purchasing. Other than those issues, the toy is sturdy and quite big (bigger than my 5yr olds hand)!

The watch looks just like it does in the anime/game. It has a little LED light in it too and makes a lot of different noises when you insert the medals. And even though you can't use the hasbro (english) medals with it, it's still fun to have just for a collection or a costume. But if you did want medals, they seem like they are pretty easy to find on amazon!

Really cute! But I think this may be too delicate for kids under 10. The lid that opens feels like it would snap if a child were to carry the watch by the lid. Otherwise, I love it! It's really fun to play with and wear every now and then!

The light doesn't work and the sound goes in and out when you put the coin in. I need a replacement or refund. Waiting to hear back from seller.

プレゼントとして、購入しました。喜ぶ顔が見れて嬉しいです。

パッケージ、付属品等そろっていて、状態も良かったです。子供が喜んで使っています。古いバージョンのものなので仕方ないですが、シルバーのメダルしか使えないのが残念。

少し早めにバグが来たような気がしますが楽しめました。
