They work, but read the return policy
These motion sickness glasses do work. I have a slightly different version that I purchased a few years ago that came with better instructions. It is best to wear the glasses BEFORE you start to feel sick. You need to wear them for at least 10 minutes before attempting to read or do any other activity that typically makes you feel nauseous. Sometimes I can wear them for a short period of time and feel fine when I remove them. Other times I have to wear them for the entire car/bus/train ride. Yes, you look like a weirdo in these glasses, but it is better than being sick! This style is slightly different than the other ones I own. The lenses are a little smaller, and the nose piece makes them sit a little higher. I wore them for a twisty mountain drive and they still worked.NOTE: Although the return info says they are eligible for return or replacement, if you hover your mouse over that statement there is pop-up window that says they ARE NOT eligible. I ordered two pairs and one arrived damaged/leaking. I hit several roadblocks trying to get a refund/replacement until I found the chat option. Amazon did end up refunding the purchase price without issue because it arrived damaged, but I don't think you can return them for a reason other than damage.

Works
I bought these for my daughter in law who gets car sick very quickly.. she says they really help her even on longer drives. They look crazy but are also kind of funny.

Not recommended while driving. Blocks much of your view
**Update: went on a 3+ hour drive and found that I unconsciously squint while wearing these to try and “see past” the blocked part of my vision. As a result, I had a massive headache. Being aware of that tendency, I made a conscious effort to avoid squinting in the 3+ hour drive home. I still ended up with a headache. So I’m essentially trading a nauseated upset stomach for a massive headache. And the nose piece really dug into my nose after about 25 minutes, adding to the overall pain while on this car ride. Kinda disappointed as I’d hoped these would be life changing as it had been for others. Changing my rating to 3 stars.Five stars because it meets all the criteria I was looking for. But I will say it’s probably best to only wear while a passenger. I get carsick whether I’m driving or riding with someone else. So I would have liked them to have been wearable in either scenario. But they block a lot of your view from all angles. I’ve only tried them once and they appear to work for my short trips. Looking forward to trying them for a longer trip. Will update after.

They work!
My son is so relieved and able to watch his tablet in the car again without getting nauseous.

The science is brilliant and works. These frames are too inflexible to fit.
I have purchased about six of these from various vendors because they help me so much. (I've given some pairs away, too.) If I wear them before I get sick (car, boat, etc.), they work really well. I can even read and work on my laptop. They obviously won't help as much if the ride is really rough (like off-roading or rough seas) or if it's dark outside and your eyes/brain can't see the liquid . The science is sound, and these work. With each brand I've gotten, I've added an elastic strap across the back or they fall off. Be careful not to strap them too tightly to your face, though, because they won't work if you can't see the liquid. This particular brand is my least favorite because the plastic is way too stiff and bends the wrong way on my face. I've been tempted to pop out the water rings and then dunk the frames in boiling water to see if that helps. I'm torn how many stars to give these. On the one hand, the science works. On the other hand, the shape/bend of these is so bad that I never wear them.

Worth a try
My daughter previously reported mild to moderate car sickness if she tried to read in the backseat during car trips. She tried these glasses and said that they seem to help. On our last trip, she was having a fun time reading to her younger sibling, something she hadn’t been comfortable doing previously. I’m looking forward to her trying them on a longer trip.

Don't mind me
I have not used these for the long distance trips yet, but those short trips make a huge difference in whether you arrive ill or excited to participate in the activity you're arriving to. I have always been the driver due to having extreme motion sickness, but this now allows me to be a passenger without being sick. I look forward to traveling in longer distance to see how they work. Don't mind the odd looks you receive because you do, in fact, look ridiculous, lol!

It’s a miracle
I’ve suffered from terrible motion sickness my whole life. I don’t think I’ve ever left an Amazon review but I just had to for this game changer. I thought I’d give it a shot since nothing but medicine (that makes me very sleepy) has ever worked. They look very funny so I used them first in an Uber where there was stop and go city traffic for 45 minutes and I sat in the back. Usually this would result in a really bad bout of headache, nausea and I’d be debilitated for hours. With these glasses I felt FINE. After that I used them on the MARTA train here in Atlanta, the plane ride and another back seat Uber ride. I don’t care what I look like the fact is if I’m going to be sick I’m looking a lot worse. I am so thankful and over the moon that I have something that will help me! Thank you to whoever invented this.
