The packaging came out glued to the pad on both sides.while removing it, it ripped out the pad at a small area. I had to color it with a marker.

Everthing is fine except it smells a little bit for 1 week.

It’s hard to tell from the pictures if the mat will be thick or thin. I’m happy to report that the mat is relatively thick. It is not as thick as a piece of cardboard, but still substantial and not flimsy. The underside is soft and silky to avoid any damage to the desk. The top side is rather robust. I lightly scratched it with my finger nails and it made no mark whatsoever. I also really appreciated the care with which it was packed in the box so that it would not be rolled up. It looks beautiful right out of the box - No blemishes or smell.

I had a very specific purpose for this product that may not be typical. I am using my office desk for music recording and mixing, holding speakers and recording equipment. The desk has a glass top which was causing terrible sound reflections as sound bounces directly off glass. This desk pad covers the glass nicely and is exactly what I needed. It is also a nice mouse pad and looks great. My desk has a dark cherry finish and midnight black looks good with this finish. Perfect for what I needed.

Quality product but surface is to soft. You need to place something under your paper or your pen will drag into the paper and leave indented write marks.

I purchased this item for myself and a different product for my husband. This product's quality far exceeds the other one I purchased. This one is delivered flat in a box. The other product I purchased that husband wanted was rolled up.I purchased an additional 4 after receiving this one for my office staff.Works well to protect desk; makes writing easier and works well for a mouse pad. In general cleans up the look of a desk.

I liked the fact that the desk pad was shipped inside a cardboard box so that the pad was not rolled up. So, there were no issues with it lying flat on my desk. It was a little soft for writing on, but I don't see that as much of an issue for me. The large size allows me to accomodate my laptop as well as a mouse and other items on the sides of the pad.

I love this pad even more than my first one. It came flat which was awesome as I didn't have to unroll and wait for the curl to relieve. YAYYY It is extremely easy to clean and the dye doesn't come off which happened with my previous one. I am extremely happy with this purchase!!!

Looks good on my sons desk

I don't have a separate desk so find this very useful for protecting my dining table when using that as my home office. It's large, so do check measurements. I stays nice and fast with no rogue curling at the corners.

This turned up as a thin rectangle of plastic. Very imaginative marketing for what is a 99p strip of plastic.
