I bought this so that I can put my notes under it and not have to tape them to my desk wall but it's not transparent, well sort of. Its textured on one side and if you put that side up you can see your notes but you cannot read them. So, I flipped it with the textured side down and now I can read them BUT I have to press down on it to be able to read it. I decided to keep it because it does the job of protecting my notes from liquids or food and it's very easy to clean.

Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. It is not perfectly transparent as I had hoped, and since I use it to protect various pieces of paper taped to my desk, it does make it a little more difficult to read. But overall, it serves its function well.

This is keeping my new white desk clean. It arrives in a roll and it takes a few days to relax, but once it does it works great. My only issue with it is I wish it were crystal clear, it has a pattern/texture on the back.

Get what you pay for. This is on the thinner side. Despite being flattened for a few days it still has some kinks in it from being rolled. Not like the heavier ones you can buy at office supply stores. It also has a texture which makes it not completely clear as expected. You can't read things put under it. It does what I bought it for but WAS NOT what I expected. I should have read the reviews!!!

It wasn't what I expected. It's very thin and reminds me of the old vynel floor runners. I was expecting it to be thicker and sturdier. It's also hard to see through as I planned to use it over a desk calendar.

It is not completely clear it’s kind of a blurry aspect which can be difficult to view papers under it otherwise good for desk area wish it was a bit thicker !

Perfect fit for my office. It does the job of protecting my hard wood floors. However it moves around when I move. I don't love this but it's not bad enough to take away any stars. It does what the description indicates. Good price as well.

This product was purchased for my desk at work. Although it was supposed to lay flat for 24 hours before use, it is a perfect length and width for the area I needed.
