This pack of 4 allows for customizable motor control, offering up to 256 microsteps and dynamic power management for enhanced efficiency and precision. ## Description Potentiometer Setting Instructions: Turn Potentiometer Clockwise - Reduce Vref to Reduce Drive Current Turn Potentiometer Counterclockwise - Increase Vref to increase drive current If the motherboard provides 12V or 24V, the exact voltage of Vref can be measured. Range of Vref values: Default value: 1V (± 0.2); MAX: 2V; MIN: 0 V; Do not apply excessive force when turning the potentiometer to prevent irreversible damage to the potentiometer. When the potentiometer rotates counterclockwise to its maximum value, it becomes the minimum as it continues to rotate as it is turned clockwise to the minimum. (these). Dead silent! *by D***1 on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2021* The media could not be loaded.  I went from some standard drivers to these drivers and... the difference in both noise and control is astounding!It went from very noisy and "jittery" to being absolutely dead silent and smooth!I set my VRef to 1.4v but am also using very long wires to go from these drivers to the steppers. Seems to be working perfectly and so far, nothing heats up at all. Of course my motors are not under high load or anything so if yours are and they start to heat up, maybe adjust the VRef a little or add some heat sinks + fans to your steppers (which has worked extremely well for me in the past with high-load applications.Anyway check out the video I uploaded to see just how quiet and smooth these things are. I'm absolutely blown away. 5 Stars all the way! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work exactly as expected, good quiet stepper drivers *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2019* Great stepper drivers, they have a good large exposed heatsink area of the PCB foil. Sound level is night and day compared to classic 4988 steppers. The pin headers for UART access to the TMC2208 is a nice added feature, saves soldering them on yourself. These things are so fricken quiet its amazing. I did not know 3d printing could be so silent. Did not expect such a dramatic difference.
