Tresomega Nutrition Organic Quinoa Pasta, Penne, 8 Ounce

We really like this pastor and it’s good for you made with quinoa so I like to keep it on hand and this is a big bag and last for a long time although it is a bit pricey but it’s the best out there I think and my family will eat it so I will buy it. We thank that is pasta has a texture like regular pasta does not crumble does not have a weird taste and you can reheat it unlike some of the other pastas you cannot without it falling apart.

The only reason that I originally purchased this pasta was because it said that it was 100% quinoa. It was very expensive, but I know that quinoa is full of great nutrients, so I purchased it. When it arrived, I was really shocked and disgusted to see on the label that the 1st ingredient is organic rice!!! Quinoa is the 2nd ingredient, which means that there could be a very small amount of it in the pasta! How did this company get away with saying that their product was 100% quinoa on the Amazon description page? They charged so much money for a mostly rice product. It doesn't even taste very good. It just tastes like a bland rice pasta.UPDATE: Since my very negative review was published, they have changed their description from saying that their product is 100% Quinoa. They have also drastically lowered the price, which was $40 before!!! That makes such a huge difference! I have changed my title, that said that it wasn't 100% quinoa, since that doesn't correspond to the new description of it. I also raised my rating from 1* to 3* because of their lower price and more honest description now, but it took a very negative review and phone calls to the company to get them to change things.

I have ordered these in bulk for over a year now, but will no longer since my question went unanswered and was deleted. I asked whether the rice used was brown or white. I've don extensive research on nutrition and wellness over the years and have actually found that white rice is not the evil nemesis that many believe it to be. Additionally brown rice grown in the U.S. has consistently shown high arsenic rates. Which no one can really explain. --- So I for one done mind if the rice ingredient is white, but I need clarity because the storage shelf life is dramatically different for each. I'd be happy to remove my 2 star review if Tresomega steps us and addresses this issue.

I wasnt actually sure that I would approve of the taste and/or consistency of this pasta but I really had a hard time finding a complaint. I couldnt taste any distinct difference than any other pasta brands that I have eaten before and that is a well deserved reason to exhale in relief(Im a picky eater and I love pasta).

Excellent taste and texture. Holds its shape well and does not fall apart like other GF pastas. Cooks up firm yet tender.I really liked it. I will purchase again. Thanks!

It takes a little longer than the regular pasta but it's healthy, hearty, and tastes pretty good. I'd order this brand again.

It's ok but notice something: rice is the first ingredient and it definitely tastes very ricy.At this price, even organic is a bit overpriced for mostly rice with a bit of quinoa.Not bad though, and organic is a must these days.
