Think Clean Car Car Garbage Bag

Phil is quite cute and only has one flaw of note. He is sturdy, made well and holds lots of garbage. If you are someone who wants to be able to stuff in fast food cups and big things like that, this guy is for you. I haven't found the right size tissue box, but I know I've seen them at some store or another and will eventually find one. I took a bunch of tissue from the top of one of the boxes I have in the house (standard type cube box) and put it in Phil's pocket and pulled the first one through the clever rubbery hole. They seem to feed just fine. The water bottle holders hold the standard (16.9 fl oz) bottles with ease, and with a little bit of effort I can put my ZULU glass bottle in there (but I wouldn't try to do that while driving). Actually, I wouldn't try putting water bottles in those pouches while driving at all. They're good for loading up before your drive to have handy to grab, but not for in and out usage while driving. The only flaw that I can see so far is the liner. The way it is designed, it doesn't sit flat against the edges so it pops out into the main area of the trash bag. If you are reaching blindly to put some trash in, you will often end up putting the trash in the space between the back of the bag and the liner. This is rather annoying. There is Velcro to keep the sides of the liner in place but not to keep it in place against the back of the bag. The liner has flexible plastic around the top edges which must be for keeping it opened when transporting to the trash bin, but it fails as a liner as it is. I solved the problem (I think) by adding a strip of Velcro along the top/back edge of the liner and bag. If this doesn't work, I will just remove the liner and go back to emptying the bag by removing the entire thing from the car like I did with my old one. This is the only flaw that is annoying enough to me to take a star away. The smell of the thing is a bit off-putting (like new tires...very strong rubber smell) but I am airing it out outside and hope this will help.

I purchased this been for my wife's car as we are expecting a baby. I purchased this due to the good reviews and leak-proof inner liner. The main problem with the product is that the inner liner does not maintain it's oval shape and ends up folded inwards despite all the bending that I did to it...it ends up in the shape of a bean with a sharp bend inwards. I will probably need to add Velcro to the back part to keep it from folding in and prevent people from accidentally throwing things into the outer bin. For me the inner liner makes this garbage bin a deal breaker, if it held its shape then it would be perfect. Another minor complaint is that the craftsmanship of the bins lid is poor and so the material has already begun to come off and reveal the thin cardboard underneath. In my own car I have a bag style garbage holder that clips on to the headrest as does this one; the opening for the garbage entry is an elastic material that opens and closes up automatically to compensate for larger items but it is not leak-proof...if leak-proof is not something that you need then the style garbage bin I use in my own car works great. IMHO, with these products it seems that simpler is better. Oh by the way I haven't found a box of tissue that fits this bin yet so I can't tell how well that works and I haven't attempted to put anything other than a pair of cheap sunglasses in the side compartments that apparently hold containers of liquid. The photos and reviews on this bin do it great justice but in reality I would try something else. I hope this review helps anyone interested in this product. One last note, I did notice that the product is no longer available, maybe they are revamping and coming out with an improved model? I did email the seller and she responded quickly and appreciated some of my input, I will be contacting her again as I am no longer satisfied with the product.

{EDITED} Just to add to my below review. As I mentioned, the tissue dispenser doesn't work well. However, I found that if you leave the top zippered part of the tissue compartment open, and use pop-up tissues out of their box and pull them through the top instead of out of dispenser part, it works quite well! That's not how it's intended to work but it works.{ORIGINAL REVIEW} Finally got rid of my old car trash bin because it needed carpet on the floor to get it to stay in place. Hung Phil on the passenger seat back and can easily drop things in it when driving. Yes there is an issue with Amazon shipping crushing it, but I gently bent it over and over back into place and it's good to go now. It's a well thought out product. Unfortunately it loses 1 star because the tissue dispenser doesn't work well. For those of us with allergies a good tissue dispenser is indispensable, but the tissues don't come out well and they tear. I'll go back to a tissue box in the arm rest. But everything else about this product is very nice.

I like that there is a removable liner that can also be washed. When I tried to use the tissue holder, there was too much resistance from the rubber opening and I would up shredding the tissues and as there isn't anything to secure the bottom of the bag when you pull the tissue the entire bag pulls with it. I'm going to try and put some wet-wipes in there instead and see if that gives a better result. If this were simply a trash bag I would give it 5 stars, but as I don't think the tissue feature is all that it needs to be I gave it 3. Excellent company communication, fast shipping and follow up emails I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I really liked Phil. He was cute, looked nice, and hung nicely on the back of my car seat. Alas, someone broke into my car and stole Phil, along with my gym bag.I had a teeny, tiny preference issue that I need to consider before replacing Phil. In the product picture, it looks like the bag has a large open gap all the time. Mine collapsed flat against itself, so that if I wanted to put something into the bag without looking, I had to feel around with my fingers for the opening. Not a problem, just something that did not 100% thrill me.
