Overall Decent Machine with Some Flaws

Overall, this is a great value for the price. The OS alone could cost this much to purchase retail. The computer as it arrives runs fine, though it took quite a while to update. Quad core Celeron with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD running Windows Pro 10 (1903) worked fine to record guitar via USB adapter and sound from USB Mic. Video input from webcam seemed fine. I did not expect an i7 worth of performance, but for what it is, it is a pretty decent machine, until:Once updated, I went ahead and added a 2.5 inch drive. Big mistake. Once the drive was installed, I was no longer able to connect to Wireless networks. I could see all the networks, but not connect at all. I removed the drive and the wireless worked again. I played around a while and found that if I did not use screws on the hard drive, I could connect, but still have horrible wireless service with pings to the gateway taking upwards of 3800ms. Remove the drive and all the pings to the gateway are under 10ms. If I even just pop the top off so it is not seated in the clips, the wireless works. Seems like a poor design for the antennas, and would explain some people's reviews about slowness. I am using a USB wireless dongle at this point, but it is stupid that I had to even consider it. I may go ahead and hack the case and put in some real antennas if the wires in there are removeable.Considering the general use case for a tiny PC like this is to hide it out of the way, I assume wireless is a pretty well used feature. The poor design causes network issues on Wifi with a 2.5 inch drive, and some $5 antennas could have made this computer a solid knock out. Too bad. Still if you don't need the extra storage or any customer support, it's a pretty good deal.UPDATE:Support was slow moving at first but eventually took care of me. The antenna issue remained, but it may have just been bad positioning of the antenna during manufacturing. In any case, be sure to have a backup plan if you need the extra hard drive and wireless.

Worth the $$$.

I bought this as a "daily driver" computer so I don't have to keep my main machine on all the time. By daily driver I mean mostly web surfing use. For larger tasks I'll use my nice computer.I was concerned it might stutter on some web streams and so far, so good. I frequently watch hockey or baseball (nhl.tv / mlb.tv) and surf the internet at the same time. Occasionally the video will stutter a bit when loading another page, but I suspect that might not be the fault of this little machine as my main rig will occasionally do that as well. This does seem to do it a bit more often, but nothing to freak out about. It does take a few more seconds to start some streams, but once it settles in, no issues.Another concern I had was the lack of a "Windows key" since I thought I may want to upgrade the M.2 SSD to a larger size. After a little research I discovered that you don't need the key because Microsoft keeps a record of your machine's hardware and then will automatically authenticate the OS. I haven't tried it yet, though. The only issue I have with this machine (for how much it cost) is that you are not able to expand the RAM more than the included 4GB. It does seem to work fine with the 4GB for basic tasks.

A Compact Powerhouse!

This mini PC is an awesome sleek and stylish space saver. Its specs are superior to others in a similar price range as well given the fact that this PC comes with 128gb of storage. It includes Windows 10 and is truly plug and play. As soon as you turn it on, you’re prompted to set things up as you see fit. There are four USB ports, so I imagine most will use them for connecting a mouse and keyboard like I did. This also saves you space for additional storage through a USB port, or other capabilities such as connecting a printer. It also includes both an HDMI and VGA port for connecting a monitor. Many mini PCs only include two ports, so this is an awesome feature. I’m currently using an HDMI cable and it looks great. You can also connect it to a TV if you’re looking for a streaming setup. The PC comes with mounting equipment so you can also attach the mini PC to the back of a monitor, making it even more discreet as before— although as you can see from the pictures I’ve attached, it is already really low profile even if you decide to keep on your desk like I did. While you can hear the fan gently humming when the PC is turned on, it is super quiet and is almost unnoticeable. All in all, this is a great PC for those who are looking for the reliability of a desktop computer without compromising space.

Initial problems but good manufacture/seller support

Unfortunately, I couldn't get any video out of the initial unit I received. I contacted the manufacturer who gave me a few troubleshooting suggestions, and when those failed, they quickly shipped me a replacement unit (and a prepaid return label for the defective unit).I was looking for a inexpensive, small footprint, media PC and this device fits my requirements perfectly. Note, this is not a gaming PC for under $200 so if that is your expectation you'll be disappointed. But it does handle medium to light productivity (i.e. Office, email, web browsing) and is a good media streamer. A bonus is that it comes with Windows 10 Professional which is nice if you need more advanced enterprise / domain level management capabilities. I mounted this unit to the back of a monitor so it has no desk footprint at all. It's a good unit for the price and for what it does.
