The black ball is super challenging to hit. The headband is a little uncomfortable but I use hat like Lomachenko. The quick wraps are awesome because the red ball is a little dense but much easier to keep your rhythm but once you are getting after it for a few minutes and can tenderize your knuckles without the wraps so they come in handy. They send your replacement cord and a tool to thread it which is awesome. For $20 you have plenty of resources to expand on your skillset or start with resources that were not popular or available even 10 years ago. I think the bad reviews are overly critical for this product. If you want to swing for the fences invest in a heavy bag. If you want to develop valuable skills (hand/eye, timing, rhythm, reaction time, etc.) then spend the $20 for this product and be grateful like the rest of us who left sincere reviews.

Let me start with the gloves. They fit the palm of my hand, but way too tight around my fingers and cuts circulation off.The head band and ball are very awkward to work with. First, the string that the ball is attached to makes it very hard to visually focus on the ball. Second, it's extremely hard to use the ball for practice because it's all over the place. Moving your head to avoid being hit by the ball after punching it causes the ball to go all different directions. I feel that the string shouldn't be nearly as stretchy as it is.Overall, if your able to make the string a perfect length and have amazing speed and aim, you might pull it off. It would be an amazing way to work on speed and aim, but there are a ton of flaws that need worked out.

This product has a specific purpose, and if you are not ready to put in the time to master it....it's gonna be very frustrating. I agree that this product has an intended purpose and once mastered...it's amazing....just very hard to get off to a good start. Good luck people.... and use the soft training ball first...or black eyes will follow....lolOh and use a fishing lure line knot when attaching the string to the head set. If you don't know how...youtube it.

I bought these to prevent skin ripping / scaring on my knuckles during heavy bag workouts.They felt durable, nice quality, but after about 15 minutes of heavy bag workout they hurt worse than when I just wrap my fist with normal cloth boxing wraps! The gel padding does feel good at first, but boy were my knuckles throbbing. Also, they don't protect your lower finger joints from the heavy bag, they stop just short of the length I need my the finger sleeves to be. Not a terrible product but ... I need better padding.

8 yr old grandson loves it. Improvement came quickly and he still works with it long after Christmas. (Sure beats video games) as it requires coordination, speed and agility.Head strap could be wider.

Orders this for my 14yr old for something to do during quarantine. He loves it and got the hang of it pretty quickly.

This product arrived timely and I was surprised at how durable each piece was. The gloves that come included was a huge bonus! I've been practicing for 3 days and can already notice improvements with my reflexes. Definitely a great purchase!!!!

My teenage sons both love this. It was harder to use than expected but mastering it has been part of the fun.
