... they came pre seasoned but other than that they're nice and light and easy to clean
Wish they came pre seasoned but other than that they're nice and light and easy to clean. The larger of the 3 started to warp the first time I washed it but after buying some mineral oil and seasoning it, it seems to have flattened out and returned to normal.

Great boards!!
As a culinary professional and foodie, I am always looking for the best kitchen tools, gadgets and toys so I was super excited when I was given the opportunity to purchase this set of three bamboo cutting boards at a discounted price to test for quality and review. These boards are a little less than 1/2" thick. The smallest is about the size of a 5x7 picture frame, the largest about the size of a cereal box. They are thin enough that I can slide all three vertically next to my stove. There are also handles made by removing an oval section of the board so they could be hung as well.I use the small one for items such as cheeses, the medium one for fruits and veggies and the larger one for cooked meat. I do not like to put raw meat on wood or bamboo cutting boards. I use plastic for that. They are easy to clean, just wash with warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Bamboo boards do need to be seasoned with cutting board oil such as this one from Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Howard-Products-BBB012-Butcher-12-Ounce/dp/B004G6X0J2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430618136&sr=8-1&keywords=mineral+oil+for+cutting+board) It will keep them from drying out and splitting and is food grade.These cutting boards would make the perfect house warming gift, wedding present or birthday gift for the foodie in your life.

Shreds with use!
While this looks beautiful upon arrival, after a few uses and with contact with a sharp knife, the board starts to splinter. This leads to getting the splinters into whatever it is your are cutting. After a short while, the board looks really, really bad because of the obvious cut marks. And NO, I did NOT receive this item at a free or discounted rate for my review.

Pretty good. I still have and use them after 2 years. The middle sized one split down the middle, but is still usable.

Toxic smell
The product has a very strong chemical smell and seems to be made of pieces glued together with some kind of adhesives. I bought a 6 piece serving utensil set from the same seller and it smells toxic as well. It's not clear what country this product is coming from either.
