This is a really nice starter kit.The banneton seems well made and has a liner that can be used or not, depending on whether you want the pattern of the weave to show on your bread. The scraper and blade are both substantial and feel like quality products.The bottom line is that I’m very pleased with this purchase. (I’m still struggling with my sourdough, but that’s another story 🙂)

I love this sourdough kit. It has everything I’ve needed to make beautiful and delicious loaves. Just be sure to season it with rice flour before putting your dough in! I used regular flour... big mistake. It’s important to use a gluten free flour like rice flour so that the dough doesn’t stick!

I make Sourdough Artisan Bread and have used this basket numerous times. Be sure you know how to prepare your basket before using the first time. But it is sturdy and holds perfect shape. The linen cover is nice to keep it clean and protected between use.

From the looks this basket is great! I purchased another brand and it had splinters so I returned it. This one is smooth, so nothing to get caught in the dough. Looking forward to using as soon as my sour dough starter is mature.

It looks very nice but is for smaller loaves. Haven’t had time to work with it but it looks sturdy.
