Great Shin Pads ! I recently hurt my instep in Muay Thai sparring with a misplaced kick bruising the top of my foot. I have 6 different leading brands of shin pads that I use frequently when Muay Thai sparring. I could always feel my shin & instep being impacted when my kicks were being checked. I never trusted any of them to protect my thin 60 years old bones (145 lbs) so I never kicked hard. Yesterday I put on my new Venum Elite Standup Shinguards & went to the Mauy Thai club. After testing a few light kicks I blasted away on a much larger opponent with no problems. I checked his heavy leg kicks and had my heavy kicks checked (blocked with upper shin). I never felt the kicks at all through the pads ! These Shin Pads provide Great protection ! They are super light, with a tight fit with and did not slip or need adjustment in a full 90 minute class including sparring. These are the best Muay Thai shin pads for sparring & drills that I have ever worn. I am waiting for another brand that are already in the mail but I certainly won't need them. These are Amazing & worth every penny !

At 6’ 1”, they fit great, plenty of foot coverage, very light, and the padding is ideal for training. Highly recommend the Venom brand as it has proven to be very durable and takes the abuse.

You can feel the quality and protection the minute you put them on. But they do feel a bit heavier than other pads. Minimal but noticeable. They look great and as bulky as they are, somehow sit or feel closer to the shin. The reason I returned them is the same reason most people mentioned here. I'm 5'4 and the top strap digs at the back of my knee to the point where it makes them unwearable. It's not that big a deal until you start moving around and try throwing knees. Almost perfect even with the added weight. But the top strap makes them a no go for the vertically challenged. I "downgraded" to The Challenger shin guards and those are the better choice for me. They're lighter and offer the right amount of protection. I can kick pretty hard without fear of feeling it. Both these models didn't move an inch during sparring.

Bought these for my daughter. She loves them. Bought the matching gloves too!

These shin pads fit as I expected them to, and provide good coverage of the vital areas needing protection. The velcro straps have been well made and the elastic bands for the foot and ankle and also holding up well. So far they are feeling decently padded without being overly bulky, it appears to be a good design. There are no points of irritation, I'm glad I went with this model.

Li ho acquistati per fare il salto di qualità in termini di protezioni per la pratica della Muay Thai. La qualità costruttiva è ottima, si vede anche dai velcri, e la protezione offerta è veramente buona con la doppia imbottitura su tibia e collo del piede. Venendo da un paio di paratibie della Venum di medio livello (Venum Challenger) devo dire che la differenza si nota subito, sono sicuramente paratibie di un livello superiore. Sono 1.80m e ho scelto la taglia L

To be honest I ordered these because they are super cute. I was so happy with the QUALITY and comfort. I highly recommend these and they look even nicer in person
