WenVen Men's Cotton Twill Cargo Shorts Outdoor Wear Lightweight (No.4 Khaki,33)

At first, I really loved these shorts. They were very comfortable, they fit well, and they looked pretty cool. They also survived two washes before coming apart. I now have a long rip down the back, along side the right back pocket and the upper corners of the left back pocket are coming apart (I have holes there). Inb4 "you mistreated them" and "your washer ate them". I didn't work in these shorts, snag them on anything, or otherwise abuse them; and my washing machine works fine. My Lee Dungarees are much more durable than these and are the ones I actually wear when I am working outside. I wanted to go with something different though and I guess this is what I get: a pair of shorts that can't hold up long at all.

I purchased several pairs of these shorts about a year ago in 2017. They were my go-to shorts. Through a year of wear and tear on them, however, the sticking and material around the back pockets began to degrade and tear. I figured this was just because of their lower cost and figured it was normal. Flash forward to a week ago when I ordered 3 more pairs. I used the same link that was found in my Amazon orders page to ensure I got the same ones. I happily order 3 more pair. When they arrive, I go to put them on only to find that they are now much smaller than the original pairs I ordered in 2017. 2017 pairs fit perfectly to just a little too loose. These are at least a couple inches from buckling properly. Same product purchased, different results. Beware that if you like these, they're not guaranteed to be the same if you order them again.

Reluctant purchase due to the reviews. I returned the 30W. I do not understand the 73% "Fit As Expected" cuz I wear 28W in some brands....30W Amazon Basics. The 30W were crazy small. 2+ inches away from even having the button reach closure. They were like H&M 26W. Makes me suspect there is significant inconsistency in their manufacturing. But....an order of 32W are on the way. It will be the only thing over 31W in my wardrobe. We'll see.But the styling & detailing is nice. My favorite thing is the color selection. I like the "red" which is more of a muted brick color. All the other manufacturers seem to have the same repetitive colors. I live in Hawaii and wear shorts at some point almost every day. I'm tryin' to mix it up a bit.

Ordered July 22, 2018, received July 29, 2018. No more then 3 washes and the rivet came lose. I believe I have purchased a pair of WenVen shorts before and no complaints. This pair, the rivet was compromised from the beginning but still solidly attached to the fabric. Today’s wash(September 11, 2018), and the rivet separates. Another issue, seems the inside seam was irritating my thigh, as though it was sewn with fishing line which stabbed into my inner thigh. Photo explains the primary flaw

Love these shorts! They are boardshort length (on the long side). Colors don't run or fade. Material is lighter than denim and breaths. They get softer with each washing. Lots of pockets with buttons. My smartphone fits nicely vertically and does not fall out like some of the other shorts I own. I like these so much I have ordered another pair.

Fit one size TOO SMALL. Had to return size I normally wear and wear currently in all other shorts/pants for larger size. The BUTTON above the zipper which helps hold the shorts up, FELL OFF within 3 weeks. It is an odd type of button and not easily sewn back on...found a different replacement. After approx. 4 weeks began to show INCONSISTENT COLORING FADE rate. That is too say, the top part of the shorts stayed a darker brown than the lower half, with normal wear and washing/drying (see picture). This is all really too bad because I actually really like the style and color of these shorts. I ended up wearing them a lot for projects I might get dirty doing but need to be comfortable...until after 2 months when the ZIPPER BROKE and I could no longer wear them and too late to return. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these shorts.

Nice shorts. Not exactly what I wanted, the color wasn't what I preferred but it was executable. The pockets are a great size to fit a water bottle and other things. My favorite thing of these shorts are that the pocket closures are not velcro. Velcro secured pockets seem to find a way to adhere to everything. These are snaps which are the best, even better than buttons. The waist was a 38 which I thought would be too big,...not so, they are almost too tight and takes a little effort to secure. I like the "rumpled & messy" look & feel, not stiff and neat. For me the color could be a little bit more dark, but they work. Overall happy with them except for size. I can wear a 38 in everything with not issue. Oh well, guess I need to get ride of a couple of inches or more on my waist.

These cargo shorts fit my waist perfectly. I am a little on the shorter side I stand a towering 5'6" so these shorts hit me about my calf. If it wasn't for the length I would have loved to keep these. The color was just perfect for my taste. The quality looked really good. They were 100% cotton which was nice and was rather hefty. If you are on the shorter size these may not be the shorts for you. If I had more time I may have kept them and had them tailored. I have to do that with a lot of my clothes.

Disappointed. Definitely doesn’t fit a 38 waist. Even leg width is too small. Not happy at all

Disappointed in quality. I was not expecting a whole lot out of these, and they still managed not to meet my expectations. The buttons on the cargo pockets started falling off immediately. There are loose threads everywhere that make it seem like these shorts might last a couple weeks at most.

They were perfect but after a month or so problems started showing up. The waist button was not installed properly and fell out of a big hole cut in the fabric. In single layer places the fabric develops tears..which I patched with embroidery...but that was not satisfactory.

My third pair...they were always > 4 star but for that price...definitely a 5 star.

This shorts wear and wash well. Lots of places to keep things, which is great on long walks.

All the snaps fell off. Fit is good. Fabric seems nice. But after only a couple of times wearing them all my snaps popped off. I would not recommend.

I sent back for a refund..i even bought a size bigger just in case and I still could not do them up

Colour is not as it shown in the picture, I really wanted that colour and got totally different colour. Wasted my time.

fits all right and is okay quality. No complaints for this average garment.

Great shorts, casual and comfy and look good. Plenty of pockets to carry stuff.

Same complaint as others...I’m always a 38.These make me feel like I have gained 75lbs they have to be a 32 or less..
