$$$ Tonsil vs. $ Ear
Tonsil Stone Removal Tool w/ LED Light vs. Ear Pick Wax Remover Curette Earpick Green with LED LightFirst of all these things work awesome - just take your time and work slowly with a good mirror. The water syringe is an added bonus for the smaller debris and too works awesome. Now for the reality check between the two LED units, one is outrageously expensive and the other is not. I bought them both as a study and to my basic knowledge, they appear to be from the same manufacturer. I just wanted to share this.

This thing is awesome! Too bad it didn't last
This thing is awesome ! Too bad it didn't last. Light flickers now and won't stay on. Use it twice and now useless .

Good at digging, not at tweezing!
Works great at getting the tonsil stones. I wish I could use the tweezers and pinch from the top of the device, instead of gagging myself. Also, the plastic piece falls of easily, could be a choke hazard if one is not careful. On a good note, the light is brilliant, it makes seeing into the crevices of the mouth so much easier. By and far, the good outweigh the bad. I suggest gargling with salt water in the morning and at night, to loosen stuff up for easier removal.

I did not want to return these. I wrote my review, but Amazon didn't read it I guess...
First, I have to apologize because I had Amazon send me this product a second time, because I said the adapters were not included. I was about to return both of these when I realized that the adapters were inside the bottom part that pulls out. They need to include instructions for stupid people like me I guess! Amazing. It is rather a flimsy product and it didn't work for me, but I will keep it in case I can somehow get it to work after I gargle with coconut oil or something... I don't think it will work though. Disregard my recent emails about returning this product. It isn't even worth the trouble really.

The light up feature is great, except for I have to shove my fingers ...
I should've paid more attention in the description. It's way too short to be effective. The light up feature is great, except for I have to shove my fingers nearly all the way into my mouth, which keeps me from being able to see what I'm doing. The seventeen dollars + shipping was a total waste of my cash. I tossed this thing into the trash two days after I got it.

or someone with better eye-hand coordination skills
I purchased this after checking out some videos on youtube of people successfully removing tonsil stones using this product. Unfortunately, whether that was because of the magic of film editing, a different product being used, or someone with better eye-hand coordination skills, I did not fund much success. While this is a good product in theory, I found that this particular model had a tip that was slightly too sharp, being shaped more like a tiny cup instead of a rounded ball shape I thought I was getting when I looked at the pictures. So when I tried out some probing with my fancy new upgrade from using qtips I ended piercing one of my tonsils when applying a fraction more than slight pressure and actually ended up getting the tonsil stone I was originally aiming for with my tried and trusted supply of qtips after that. I attempted several more probings with similar results. Good in theory, could use some changes to the design. Additionally, the LED light ended up not being as bright as I was led to believe, something that could have been overlooked assuming I didn't stab myself every time I used this product.

Finally no gagging!
Okay I have to admit I was leery about this. I've recently started developing tonsil stones at 33 years old and they creep me out. I thought I had one at first and it turned out I had three sort of hanging out in the pockets of my tonsil that I couldn't see until I shone a light down mu throat out of curiosity one day. I tried everything to get them out. Cotton swabs, my own fingers, a toothbrush, the flat end of a dental pick... I gagged every single time. I could not touch the side of my tonsils with any of these things or I would just gag and make myself sick. Then I took a chance on this tool and I'm so glad I did. I was able to touch the side of my tonsils without gagging easily, the light is also handy because I had been using the flashlight on my cell phone, previously. Cannot recommend enough!

LOVE THIS TOOL!
I LOVE the Tonsil Stone Removal Tool w/LED! I used it today and it was so simple I can't believe I didn't invent it first! I've been picking my tonsils for years with long-handled cotton swabs - which are hard to come by. I'd hold a flashlight in one hand, a swab in the other while balancing a magnification mirror between my knees. No more! This little tool is wonderful!
