Healed our dog's eyes
Excellent product. One of our dogs suddenly got a terrible allergy. Her face was covered with brown spots (she has white hair), her eyes were swollen, she barely opened them, and you could see mucus coming out of both eyes.My husband took her to a western medicine (allopathic) veterinarian who, as they normally do, could not come up with the right diagnosis. As usual, they will say it is a virus, or a viral infection. The vet said our dog had a temperature, recommended antibiotics for 10 days and dangerous steroids, which really infuriated me.I do not trust western medicine, either for humans or for animals, but we wanted to have our dog seen and made the mistake to visit these "merchants" again.Needless to say, the antibiotics did not work and the steroids went to the trash as soon as my husband showed them to me. The trip to the vet clinic cost us $193 dollars, all for nothing.I came on Amazon and ordered this product for the eyes and treated her allergy with natural antihistamines. Our home treatment alongside these drops did the trick and our baby healed completely. Her eyes healed so well that is was hard to believe a few days earlier she was barely able to open them.We will try to find a naturopathic veterinarian for future ailments. I refuse to continue wasting my time with western veterinary medicine. These drops? Thet are fantastic!

I like Halo products, but this doesn't work (at least not for my dog).
I use their ear wash and I love it, but this product doesn't seem to work at all. Its a pain to use (2 different solutions mixed with distilled water and refrigerated, etc). I followed the instructions carefully and had zero results.

Effective but takes some time and effort to make
I think this herbal wash works really well. I have a middle-aged cat who's eyes starting getting clogged and tearing up out of nowhere this past winter, and I was really worried and trying to find something natural that would alleviate the obvious discomfort she was in. well this is all natural completely! and I really liked that! what I didn't realize is that you have to make the formula yourself every time, and that if you follow the directions completely you will be wasting formula especially if your pet is on the smaller side. well eventually I realized i could cut the proportions in half and not mess anything up ratio wise so that has been better. I will say, I'm sure the directions are the way they are to be as affective as possible, but it is NOT EASY to administer this 2x a day for 9 days in a row. :P if I had realized that before I purchased, I might have gone with a different brand, just because it has been SO HARD, and I have the scratch marks to prove it. however, although I was never able to finish a cycle (and I don't recommend doing that on purpose at all) my cat's eyes did clear up and eventually reset themselves back to normal. Eventually I kind've just ignored the directions and had the formula ready for use whenever her eyes seemed to be acting up. Doing that once a day until it cleared up was enough, but I don't think her issue was ever that serious to begin with. So it does work, but be ready. You also need to use distilled water or boil water to distill it before you can mix it up, and YOU CANNOT SKIP THIS, as otherwise it can be the cherry on top of an already existing infection. I personally liked mixing up the formula after I got used to it, i felt like an herbalist in an old-fashioned apothecary, but if you are looking for something to use instantly or in a rush this might not be the right medicine for you. It takes time to make, and you have to juggle between two concentrates to complete the cycle. if you are up for the challenge go ahead! I myself am just grateful that my cat's irritation is over.

Halo Cloud Nine Natural Herbal Eye Wash for Dogs and Cats
I ordered this eye wash for my older Jack Russell (17yrs) and he wasn't happy with the process at all. The formula has to be rotated 3 days for goldenseal and 3 days for eyebright; morning and evening. It has to be refrigerated when not in use and then warmed before using. ( I put bottle in a cup of hot water from sink to take chill off). It seemed to help the irritation in his eyes but the stain from the eyes watering (brown) and he is white is not that easily removed.

Didn't work
Nice natural product but it does take some mixing, switching from one herb to the other but it didn't work with my dog. He has runny eye and this didn't help.

Great product
I am so glad I found this product. My 8 month old Standard Poodle was constantly having bright green goop as well as redness in one eye. I can only assume it may have been due to allergies or dirt/dust since it seemed to be worse after she was outside or at the dog park. I tried buying a saline rinse at the drug store and would flush her eye out but it did not seem to make any difference. I figured I would give this a try and after the first three days all the redness was completely gone and the goop was far less frequent. I'm almost done with the second part and have not seen any goop for a couple days now. I am so very happy with this product and will definitely use it again if the problem returns. It is a two part treatment and perhaps calling it an herbal eye "treatment" or similar would have been better than calling it a "wash". This might have eliminated the 1 & 2-star ratings some people gave who decided it was too much work to mix two ingredients together or to use it in a specified amount. Calling it a wash might imply that you can just use as much as you want to flush the eye but that is not how this product is to be used. It uses a dropper, not a steady stream from a squeeze bottle. It is kept in the refrigerator once opened and then brought to room temperature before use. I fill a small bowl with warm water, place the dropper bottle in there, take my dog out for a walk, and when we get back it is ready to be used. Pretty simple and absolutely worth it for the great results. :)
