First Response Digital Ovulation - 20 Tests -1month Supply-

Helped me get pregnant...twice! :) A bit pricey but nothing compared to in intro

So this was my first time ever doing an OPK. I tested religiously every morning first thing, so finally on test #18 (keep in mind that I was almost out of strips by that point) and I got smth unusual. Because I only got a very quick glimpse of the display, I only know that it didnt display the regular "NO-" i was getting, and I think it was maybe the question mark, that indicates a reading error. When I ejected that stick, there was no reading displayed, and when I tried to put in a fresh stick the display was dead. I think the reader shut off, though its only supposed to do that when there is a positive result. I tried again a few hrs later, and the reader is definitely dead. So I think my reader malfunctioned on me. I am trying cleablue next, I heard its better than this test. I would not recommend this particular test, you dont want to waste a whole month by having it malfunction.

Hi this was my first experience using this product and I really liked it. I got my 'YES' on March 29, 2013 on cycle Day 13. This is my 18 cycle ttcing and I wasn't sure if I ovulated which is why I chose this product. Plus the price was right. The only thing I can say is that I don't like that it automatically shuts off when it does turn positive preventing further testing. I am just glad I know when I ovulated and we are hoping to conceive this cycle! Thanks so much. I will be using this product again. I expected a product like this to work better than the cheap ones... It did not. It didn't show any result the second day I had it, then after my positive, it stopped working all together. If this is some plan by the company to sell you enough for twenty days and then have it stop before you have used all of the testers to force you to buy more; i think it backfired! I will never buy this product again.

This test worked perfect for me. I had no problems with using it. I should've pay more attention to the instructions and held the test in my urine for 5 seconds instead of 15 but even than the test worked fine for me. I got my positive and even though I can't use the digital part since it shuts off after the yes+, I continue to use the other sticks to see how dark the line is. I would purchase this again :)

The key with these tests is to pee into a cup and dip the stick for five seconds. I was so frustrated the first month I used these because I peed directly onto the test stick, and many times I got a question mark. I wrote a complaint to the company and to their credit, they sent me a certificate for a free kit. Once I started dipping, the test worked every time. This is an accurate test. I've gotten pregnant on the first try, three times, using this tester. However, it is very expensive. I've used the smiley face test and at least with that one you can re-use the reader. Once you get a "yes" on this, it shuts off and you have to throw it away. I wouldn't recommend this, but if you have it, make sure to dip instead of pee directly, and also, know that it DOES detect your LH surge accurately.

I had to update my review. The review I previously wrote was for the product itself. Now for my review about Amazon selling this product. First of all the product was bought through prime and showed up a day late. Second it expires August 2015. Guess what day it is? It's July 27, 2015. There's a rebate if you use by 2013. Seriously?? Garbage Amazon. Disappointing.I just have to write a review on this after reading all the negative posts. I used this test when trying to get pregnant with my son. On the 2nd month of using this kit, I did become pregnant.Now this kit when I bought it was 75 dollars which was pretty high, but it worked. Yeah it's a rip off because you throw away the sticks, but it simply states that in the directions. When I am looking for a kit, I read directions and make my decision from there. It clearly states that after you receive a yes, it shuts off and the test needs to be trashed. Now I do agree that first response needs to come up with a better solution, but this kit did work for me and so I am not going to bash it. We are currently trying for our 2nd and I used clear blue and never got a smiley face. Went to the dr. and got bloodwork because I didn't think I was ovulating. Well guess what?? Ovulated perfect. Going back to this test!

Very easy to use in comparison to the other cheaper brands. When ttc its worth the investment.
