However, if you have two computers (or other USB receiving equipment) then this product is a must have.I used this product initially to switch my keyboard and mouse, and an external harddrive, between my Mac and my PC. I use my computer's for different purposes, and it's great to be able to use the same keyboard and mouse without having to manually switch cables every time. For this purpose, it was perfect.After some playing with it, I realised another useful way to use the product - for sharing my Xbox controller between my PC and my Xbox. This was a fun additional use, although I'm unlikely to use it this way much.The product has fantastic build quality, and fits in well on my desk - looking like a premium product. It's metal finish really does give it a professional feel.Before ordering, my one concern had been whether this supported external power. Thankfully, it does.
