Gardens At First Light is a masterpiece of light, shadow, composition, color, everything!!! While reading and viewing the book I felt I was on a wonderful adventure through spectacular gardens in unbelievable environments.

This is a nice garden book. It is not too detailed, the pictures and ideas are somewhat basic but I recommend it for anyone starting out.

This is a thoroughly gorgeous book--from cover to cover. The photos are amazing, and the commentary and sketches enhance the entire book.

What a fabulous book: met all my expectations for photos, content and sheer inspiration. I'm a gardener by trade and this gorgoues collection of exteriors is a coffee table delight; truly the perfect gift for anyone who loves creative plantings.

Absolutely beautiful coffee table book!! Bought this as a gift for my daughter's birthday. Superb photos, enable the reader to feel as if they are right there viewing the garden. Love it.

Super disappointed in this book. The gardens are average and the photos are as well. I ordered “Gardenista” the same day and it blows this book away and it cost less.

If you are a gardener, and if if you are not, all you need be is a lover of beauty to appreciate this magnificent book. It must have been a labor of love creating this unique vision of nature, but it's no labor to read, absolutely transporting in the best possible way. I bought three after I paged through it.
