Pillowtex Comforel King Pillow

I bought these because we loved the Comforel Pillowtex pillows at a hotel we stayed at--they were very comfortable and we only needed one pillow. We both always use two pillows. I was disappointed in these two pillows, however. They are thin and we cannot sleep wit just one. The package has two pillows so we each have one, but it is not enough for comfortable sleeping. These have to be folded over to get enough pillow loft, but then surface area is halved. Given the price I paid, I am very disappointed and would not recommend these to anyone. I didn't mind spending more for pillows with the expectation that we would receive a quality product. Except for a slightly better pillow ticking on these, they aren't any better than pillows that would cost 50% less. In fact, I have a $5 pillow that is just as good. Again, very disappointed

Although they are not down, these are keepers. ( I also ordered the bamboo pillows -most comfortable alternative from Texas and they can't compare to these). I love down pillows. I love soft, squishy pillows. You can punch these up and wad them into the shape you want. These are soft and down-like without the feathers. A Vegan would be happy. The construction appears rather cheap, so they will need a protector, but I like them for their softness. Don't know how long the poly fill will last before compressing into lumps, but we'll find out. Also, there was no odor/perfume upon opening-yay. The packaging is definitely overkill. The pillows are in plastic envelopes within zippered envelopes which are then inside a larger plastic envelope. I suspect the plastic and zippers cost more than the pillow materials. I now put blankets inside the envelopes for summer storage-so I get a 2-fer.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY HUSBAND WHO CAN NEVER FIND A PILLOW THAT DOESN'T GO FLAT WITHIN MONTHS.HE IS A BACK SLEEPER AND WE HAVE SEARCHED HIGH AND LOW FOR THE PERFECT PILLOW. WE RECENTLY WENTON A CRUISE TO ALASKA AND THE PILLOWS IN OUR CABIN WERE SO AWESOME. I THOUGHT THESE WERE SIMULAR BASEDON SOME OF THE REVIEWS. NOT SO MUCH.... WHEN THEY CAME OUT OF THE BAG THEY FLUFFED UP LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. I GOT SO EXCITED THAT THEY WOULD WORK FOR HIM BUT ALAS MY HOPES WERE FLATTENED JUST LIKE HIS PILLOW.IF YOU WANT A PILLOW YOU CAN TORTURE AND BEAT INTO SUBMISSION THEN THIS MIGHT WORK FOR YOU BUTBEWARE BACK SLEEPERS.... THESE ARE NOT FOR YOU!!!!!!!

I bought 8 queen Invista Dacron Comforel pillows as gifts for Christmas. I know something was wrong with the pillows right away. Pillowtex has used a substitute fine denier non-branded fiber instead of Comforel high end virgin polyester cluster fibers. The pillows will not even support an apple, let alone a human head. The pillow is extremely thin and very soft (too soft to be real COMFOREL).My solution for side sleeping - 2 pillows - folded - stuffed into standard size pillow cases -placed one on top of the other.

So after a great night stay at a hotel, I loved the pillows they had. I took a picture of the tag in hopes to purchase one once I got home. This pillow was the closest to the description... Alas, not it. This one is fluffy and squishy and feels like the same one I wanted, but it's way too thin. My head goes all the way to the mattress.

I've had these pillows for several months now and they do not stay fluffed up as the ad boasts. Both myself and my husband have been sleeping on these for some time now and we are both disappointed. They are decent pillows but behave more like down pillows than anything else. I was looking for something that would maintain its shape and support a little better - these are not them.

We fell in love with these pillows during a hotel stay this Summer. They are the best pillows I have ever used.
