Easy install! Perfect for my vanity! Great price!
Just installed these on my mirror (which I bought to do this exact thing with but it was delayed after I moved in because of my work schedule.) Finally had the chance to order these, and they were EXACTLY what I was looking for! Wish I grabbed them sooner!! I had no desire to purchase one of the mirrored lights for $400-$600 online, but was determined set up a vanity space for all my makeup to get it out of plastic drawers— especially because my new bathroom has no counter space or mirror room to get ready in, (everyone knows the common set up I went for if you’ve ever been on YouTube😂!) I hoped to find the supplies to DIY a vanity light. I’m in a rental so I didn’t want anything hardwired or expensive in terms of lights, (I tried that where I was previously— got the light, my step dad had to help me install a switch onto it and drill into the metal so I could hand it flush — it was a project for a 3 bulb vanity light, and it is HEAVY and doesn’t light a large mirror like this. THIS TIME— I bought an inexpensive mirror (approx) 37” x 34” (I know inexpensive mirrors are hard to find-ish) *cough* IKEA *cough* .. and I found it for only $35! I added these lights to it and wow! I almost bought the 10 set, but the lights are SMALL, so if you have a mirror that is large make sure you get the 14 bulb set! I LOVE it. The strings are pulled tight (but you will see them on the mirror, that’s just the way it’s designed.) But for the price? It doesn’t bother me one bit! I LOVE my vanity now, and the lights were the perfect addition! They are bright and I can do my makeup under great light, which I didn’t have before. Highly recommend! The price is amazing! I love that you can use suction cups OR the 3m stickies. I wasn’t sure exactly where to place them so I figured I’d do suction cups then replace with stickies when I was sure (the stickies stick on pretty well you don’t want to be moving them.) But, I attached with the suction cups and they aren’t visible at all with the lights installed (I thought they’d be visible around the outside of the bulb, but nope!) I decided to keep the suction cups because it looks great as-is! These particular ones hold GREAT! You actually have to be careful pulling them off if you are moving them even with the suctions— but definitely movable as I didn’t get them symmetrical on the first try, (as you can see,) so I’ll be adjusting them. LOVE IT SO MUCH! Makes it a totally different space! You definitely don’t have to pay for an expensive mirrored light just to get a nice lighted space for makeup/hair or vanity to get ready at. Make your own! I’m not even crafty or handy but this whole mirror only involved #1 hanging the mirror, and sticking on the lights — maybe 45 minutes being VERY conservative for the whole thing (mostly to hang the mirror at the right height if you have no help and want to get the measurements perfect.) Then maybe 10 minutes to get the lights on and tighten the strings around the bulbs.) Literally anyone can do this !! They look great! Highly recommend!!

Genius little details make it so adaptable
The media could not be loaded. I have a very short attention span, so taking the time to measure carefully etc... is not a strength at all. The suction cup option was huge for me; it allowed me to try multiple variations and to make sure I got the measurements correct before applying the adhesive.I was slightly confused about the directions for fixing the excess cord when distancing the bulbs. I thought it meant to turn the whole bulb part to like wrap the cord before adhering. (It turns out I'm a little slow on the uptake). It literally means (after it has been adhered in place) to turn each bulb itself. It's genius how the wire is drawn into the bulbs base pulling the wire taut no matter how close you move the bulbs. It's beautiful how it works and how it looks. But it was the plug-in used for these lights, that managed to be my saving grace. We recently downsized (by more than half the space). The only place my makeup table would fit has absolutely no outlets close to it. This made my adjustable stand up lamps used previously unusable, and kind of defeated the purpose of the makeup table. UNTIL, I found these lights. They use an USB chord attached to an a/c plug. This allowed me to use a separate power source to work the lights without an outlet. It has been perfect. I just have to remember to periodically charge my power source. It has worked so well, we have decided to put off the cost of adding an outlet to that space. The one picture is of what I have been using for my power source in case anyone wise finds themselves without an outlet too.I have been using this set up for weeks now, and I'm thrilled with it. I will update if there are any changes.

These dim nicely but they do not switch between light modes.
I’ve used these lights for over a full month now so I will share what I have found so far.First of all, I chose these because they could be suctioned onto the vanity and for the dimmable 3 light mode feature. I have other lights that dim and switch modes and wanted that versatility with my vanity lights. These do dim nicely. They DO NOT switch between cold light, warm light, and natural light. This is clearly misrepresented in the advertising. If someone could please inform me of something I am missing I will be happy to update my review but there seems to be no way to change modes with these lights whatsoever. The dimmer, on the other hand, works flawlessly. I just wish I could switch light modes to unify the lighting in my dressing closet. For the most part the little suckers adhere pretty well. I do have to push 1 or two back on each day but that’s fine. I didn’t want to damage the finish by chancing the stickers. Not saying that would happen, I didn’t try those- they might be fine. The light could be brighter but I have other lighting in the room if needed.Overall I’m “ehh” about the purchase. The one color light works fine for my needs, but when these burn out, I will look for something else.

Could use improvements
I had super high hopes for this item based on reviews, so once the product actually arrived and I *attempted* to install the lights with the suction cup option to the mirror, I was bummed to find that it wouldn’t actually adhere. Next, I tried the adhesion tape to the mirror, which worked well for about a day, but then I would randomly find the bulbs detached from the mirror (glass), just hanging by the wires. At this point, I was getting pretty frustrated so I ended up gluing the bulbs to the actual frame of the mirror. I should have just tried to return the item from the get-go, but I was trying to make it work-and then I missed the return window (ugh!) One positive is that the dimming feature is great and easy to use! You just hold your finder down on the power slider and it dims from there!
