Perfect Feeder!
I feed peacocks, squirrels and sometimes I see rabbits in my front yard enjoying the convenience of this feeder. I've tried other feeders with a screen so there is no standing water and the seed stay fresher longer, but this feeder has LEGS! The others I tried were the hanging type and after awhile the weight of the squirrels will wear the ropes down and you're left with a useless feeder that needs legs now. That is why this feeder is perfect!

Solid, sturdy, feed the birdy.
I loved the first one so much that I bought another. Between the two ground platform feeders, I also purchased a hanging platform feeder. It has the same sturdy construction, but my ground feeders seem to get much more action. The feeder is solid and the platform well-designed for drainage. There is not really much to this feeder, and anyone could argue that it would be easy to build a similar one on the cheap. I don't care. This was an good value for the hassle that I avoided.Recommended.

Very well made! Works great for loose seed, too!
Perfect! We use it to put loose cardinal blend and peanuts out for the birds. We've had so many cardinals and woodpeckers in our yard since we put it out and they discovered it. Works great for the birds that don't fancy the hanging feeders. Very well made, the metal mesh in the bottom is not flimsy at all and it hoses clean. Great price for such a nice tray feeder!

High quality-super strong and tall
I have a number of these platform feeders - this one is slightly different because it is heavier duty wood and it is slightly taller than all the others I have owned. They all are very good but this one is great for the biger ducks and gooses because they don't have to bend over so far to eat. The girl ducks don't like it as much because it comes right to their neck below their beak - just too close for comfort I guess because they use the lower ones and only 2 have adapted to this one - but then the gooses are always standing right next to this one so maybe that's why.

Good, Sturdy Ground Feeder
A good, sturdy ground feeder. This feeder attracts a community of various birds. Could be better if some of the seeds did not get trapped on the bottom between the slats. I'd say there is a good 1/4 cup of seeds that get trapped in there. The seeds will come out when you tilt the feeder on the side. No big deal really just a little inconvenient. Otherwise a good ground feeder with some height to it. I like the idea of the legs being 6" off the ground because I have pea gravel.

This is really great quality
I get feed blocks to occupy the squirrels and birds if it goes too long before filling the feeder. I had put off getting a holder for it because it rains a lot here and I figured the block would just get mushy. This is a really great little metal mesh bottom. The squirrels and birds have no problem sitting on it and for what they pick off the block and don't eat, it falls through the bottom and the ground birds eat it.

Great product!
Great product to put the bird seed blocks in. Sits just perfectly over my brick fences, collects a lot of the mess that the birds would otherwise fling everywhere. I need to order a couple more. Made out of cedar and lasting quite nicely through out our hot summers and mild winters.

GREAT feeder and SO much fun!
This has been the greatest bird-feeder I've ever had - and I have a lot of them. I do recommend not putting it on the ground if you have cats in the area. I put mine on our deck and have enjoyed watching 16 different species of birds eat out of it. My neighbor has bird-feeders in her backyard but after noticing the activity on my deck wanted one. It is amazing.
