KEFCI160CSDS Square Dual Stereo In-Ceiling Architectural Loudspeaker (Single)

There are precious few in-WALL single point stereo speakers. To find one from the vaunted KEF is terrific. Bought this speaker in 2013 and it has served us well. We had an old intercom system no longer being used so I adapted this speaker to that hole. No, it won't have heart pounding bass but the overall clarity and range are perfectly fine for a modestly sized living room and the look is very slick. The grill is magnetic, easy to pop off. I added a few squares of eggshell acoustic foam in the walls around the speaker to eliminate a little boominess. Fairly warm midrange, modest bass to about the rated frequency, and highs that are not harsh. Keep your expectations in check and you won't be disappointed. It's pricey (it's KEF after all) but again there's almost no other single point stereo speakers for a wall and nothing that looks this good and is a snap to install.
