Galaco NEO is my favorite Vocaloid, and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase of her. She comes with 2 voicebanks - Red (an upbeat tone, an improved version of the original prize Galaco voicebank) and Blue (a gloomier tone), which I think makes her fairly versatile, and she comes with a speaking program (GalacoTALK) that runs on the same engine as Voiceroid. You don't need to have Japanese Windows to use GalacoTalk, but you do need to change your administrative locale, location, format, and display language to Japan, as well as install a Japanese language pack/keyboard - this is the only way you can activate and use GalacoTalk. These settings are easily reversible, by the way! But you will need all of them active if you want to use the program. Also, GalacoTALK can read both Japanese characters, along with English (of course the English gives mixed results.)Galaco NEO also comes with two sample VSQx files (Namida wa Sora ni Furu, and Rougue no Dengon, her two official NEO demos, including instrumentals!), breath wav files for both BLUE and RED, and ~100 special recordings by her voice provider, Shibasaki Ko. All of these can be accessed by opening the file explorer on the installation disc. A lot of the samples are really cute! :DAlso, used in Vocaloid4, Galaco can use Cross-Synthesis parameters (XSY) between her Red and Blue voicebanks, giving her (theoretically) 4 voicebanks! Of course, the results can vary as she was not designed to do XSY (being V3).If you don't buy the V3 or V4 editor, Galaco automatically comes with the tiny V3 editor - it's severely limited but usable (for example, you're limited to one track, only stereo BGM files, can only open VSQx/VSQ files, tracks are limited to 17 bars, plugins are not usable, and you can only undo once). Be sure to get the official Yamaha update so you can open VSQx files made in Vocaloid4!Anyway, if you love Galaco, this is an extremely improved version of her original voicebank with a lot of positives. She has the charm of her original prize voicebank (Red) as well as a wonderful new voicebank with a lovely tone (Blue), and a unique speaking program. I really do think she offers a complete package to anyone looking for a unique Vocaloid with many features! I hope this review helps, and please enjoy her~

Galaco Neo comes complete with Galaco Red & Galaco Blue voicebanks, the Vocaloid 3 Tiny Editor, and Galaco Talk which is a text to speech software developed by the company AI Talk. I was one of the few users to experience Galaco from entering into the Vocaloid 3 Commemorative Contest held in 2012. Galaco Neo is my first official Vocaloid developed by the company Yamaha and holds a very special place in my heart from the original prize version. I can tell without a doubt that Galaco has had her voice extensively improved although I loved her voice originally the improvements are deeply appreciated.- GALACO RED is the same voicebank as the contest prize version, but many voice and pronunciation improvements were made.- GALACO BLUE is a new voicebank much closer to the singing voice of Shibasaki Ko. This voice has a deeper vocal tone!- GALACO TALK is a text to speech software that allows Galaco to narrate or talk out a script. This program launches its own window for the software and it should also be noted that it will not work on anything, but the Japanese Version of Windows.If you have any further questions feel free to leave a comment! ^ ^

ボーカロイドのギャラ子以外にギャラ子talkがついてくるんですね。知らずに買いましたが、嬉しいです。

初音ミク以外の声が欲しくなり、購入。普通な感じの女性の声、といって特徴が無い訳ではなく・・と言う印象基が柴咲コウさんの声とのことですが、声から受ける印象は結構異なった感じです。まだ、それほど使い倒していないので、十分な評価とは言えませんがパラメータに対する感度がそこそこありそうなので、調整次第でいろいろ出来そうな感じです。＊使用環境　MacBookPro 15inch Mid 2010　メモリ　8GB　ホストアプリ　Logic X　ボカロエディタ　Piapro Studio　（→認証手続きで、クリプトン製ボカロ以外の物も使用可能です）
