Simple to fix to door for amateur in 5 steps1)Stuck the lock in place with blue-tac to allow me to adjust and be sure of placement before screwing into door.2) Marked out with felt tip3) Used dremmel to start off the screw holes4)fixed the door frame one first then realised the door one needed a couple of washers as door not tight to gap5 )screwed last one using slightly larger screws (due to using washersJob done - very happy 😊

Got this for a sliding bathroom door. It would have done the job but I decided it was too fiddly for people to use regularly it being so tiny. I fitted a simple barrel bolt lock in the end. A bit crudely made.

Bought to keep 3 yr old out of the kitchen. I thought as it's advertised as "Made of stainless steel" and "provide added security to make your living environment more comfortable", it would definitely keep a 3 yr old boy out of a room.Nope. It took him only 3 pushes against the door for the little bit at the end of the buckle structure to snap off (see picture). Absolute waste of time and money.

Used on bifold door! Small simple lock does the job
