Since this was so cheap, I decided to take a chance on it. I figured if it didn't work I'd just return it. Well, I'm keeping it☺ It works just as well as more expensive ones I've had. Took me a minute to figure out how to adjust the grind (it's the little wheel under the cap), but once I did, we were in business. I like that the blades are ceramic so no rust worries and the glass is heavy duty. It holds a lot and is easy to refill, too. I'd recommend it to any one looking for a nice grinder at a great price.

I JUST got this and started using it. I needed something to grind up my birds’ pellets since they won’t eat them whole. This does a good job of grinding them up so I can sprinkle it on top of their food. Overall I would say this is a really nice product. It feels sturdy and I would relate the thickness of the glass to what I feel a baby food jar feels like. The ONLY complaint is that the plastic top that keeps the excess powder in the chamber after getting ground up, comes off very easily. So I got ground up cockatiel pellet everywhere because it popped off mid-turn. No biggie though, I don’t need to store the powder in the grinder anyway.

The best part about the grinders are the simplicity of them. Just grinders, not an art statement sold as a set. Pretty, but junk.These are glass bottles, like the bottom of a glass of a coke bottle. Next best part, lids. Lids to keep in what should be and keep out the stuff that shouldn’t be. My modern, maybe 9 month old grinders didn’t have lids. They stood up, facing the counter and leaving 2 circles made of bits of salt & pepper.Like sets, Buy 2, use one for pink salt and the other for peppercorn. Now you have a perfect set.

Looking for a reasonably priced pepper grinder...which this is. The main problem is the girth at the point it must be grasped to grind the pepper and the subsequent strength needed to grind it. Any one with small hands or any difficulty with grasping and turning (arthritis) will have some amount of trouble given the size. Esthetically it is a very pleasing shape and holds quite a bit of pepper. A good buy for 5he money, but only if you have no physical limitation in the hands.

I bought this to grind flax seed . I tried every adjustment and it grinds it but takes a long time to get a teaspoon. This may be better for large things like walnuts or peanuts.It was inexpensive but will need to buy another type to grind seeds.

Purchased it to grind flax seeds. Set up the grind and filled it up with flax seeds. At first grinder rotation noticed white plastic parts fell off the grinder. When I looked inside it was broken...literally broke at very first use. This item is very fragile and does not work as intended. I suggest you reconsider this option before buying so that you don't waste your money as I did.

I was a little worried about the quality and ease of use of this product as I was picking it up for an elderly man and it was priced low. I am so very happy with this!!! Works great, he can use it easily even with arthritis, and the price was great!
