ODORZOUT Pet All-Surface Granules, 30 oz

I've had cats all of my life and consider myself somewhat of an "expert" in odor and stain removal, unfortunately. My two senior cats are now a lot of trouble in this area and I was searching for something new and wonderful to help me survive the last years of their lives without having to tear out one room of carpet in my house. The urine is soaked through the pad and I know it's in the concrete foundation. I've been using Zero Odor with some success but just recently tried Odorzout for the first time as the Zero Odor wasn't hacking it this time. I applied it once - nothing. Then used it each day and let it set overnight before vacuuming the next day - for four more days. I couldn't believe the difference, this stuff really worked. My office (the room they prefer to pee in) has no residual urine smell and I can work again! It is truly amazing. And EASY. Just sprinkle the powder on the offending areas and leave overnight before vacuuming. It did take several days before it worked, so don't give up. I'm ordering more, this is great stuff.

I first came across this product at a local pet store after my dog got very sick and made a mess on my bedroom carpet. I had tried every other product they sold but NOTHING got rid of the odor. I was amazed that OdorZout removed the odor completely. Then my dog got an infection that required a shot and pills for 2 weeks. The vet told me that the shot and pills would make the dog urinate more, and to keep an eye on him. Long story short, it ended up a marking war between my 2 dogs. When I went to buy more OdorZout, I was told that it is not sold in stores any more. Between the 2 dogs urinating on the carpet, I thought I would have to replace it. Then I found this amazing product on Amazon and bought 3 cannisters just in case I can't find it again.I don't know how it works on old stains and marks, but I can honestly say that it does remove the odor from fresh urine or feces. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a pet.

This is the only product I have found that actually gets rid of pet odors like urine. If you follow the directions, the product works great. I find by putting a fan on low for 24-36 hours works best. Sure, it may not get out all of the odor, but it is the only product that gets most of the odor out without covering it up with perfume smell. Great product that I have purchased multiple times.

It works okay it doesn’t seem to get rid of all of the smell. I really was not that impressed with this product. I was hoping it would be really good by some of the reviews. The bottle does last a long time.

Didn't work as anticipated. I did exactly as said by direction did it 3 days in a row and still have not seen any improvement. It smelled good after the second day but smell came back a couple of days later. don't waste your money.

So, when we finally solved the "Mystery of the Smelly Stairwell" by discovering our cat was using our stairs as his personal urinal, a trusted carpet guy told us the damage was too extensive for an easy fix -- since the urine had soaked through the carpet, padding and baseboard in several places, the only thing to do was to rip it all out and replace it with everything new. The smell was truly unbearable! As a last ditch effort before undergoing the super-costly repairs (in our six-month old home), I researched several products online and finally selected this one. Within days of generously sprinkling ODORZOUT everywhere possible in the stairwell, guess what was completely gone? Yup, the smell! Figuring we may have just become accustomed to the stench, we invited a number of houseguests to take a few deep whiffs and... no smells reported! Our carpet guy was amazed! We bought a pet gate to prevent the cat from entering the rarely-used stairwell and, four years later, we still use ODORZOUT whenever any of our pets (including four dogs) get sick inside our home. I had a leather jacket that had a peculear odor. I emptied the entire can of Odorzout into a plastic bag and put the jacket in the bag and sealed. Left in for a week. When I took it out jacket still had same odor. Used the stuff in the cat litter box. Don't know if it helped or not.
