This is the real deal.
This is an amazing pedal - used the original Mutron III a bit back in the late 70s (borrowed a friend’s) and no envelope follower I’ve used since has ever come close. This re-release by HAZ is the real deal - even though it’s enormous and requires 18v power, I had to make accommodation to fit it on my pedalboard. Highly recommended!

Biggest waste of money
I didnt have this thing longer than 6 months before it crapped out. I called Haz labs they told me to send it and they said " this sometimes just happens " and being how it was only 6 months old they would fix it for free. SO i sent tit to them and they sent it back and it is still not working. They didn't call or send an explanation on why. Best is this isn't the original Mutron this is a knockoff.

If you're picky about getting the perfect Garcia tone......
Its semi possible with this pedal. That being said, it took two different eq pedals before it in my chain to get the filter to react like I wanted it to. I'm pretty picky about the tone and I just found this thing to lack in all honesty. I bought this assuming it was the same circuit as the original pedal, but its defiantly been modified pretty heavily. I read that buying the power adapter would help the sound, so I did. It just sounds really digital in my opinion. I decided it wasn't worth it, i'm returning it and planning on buying a clone of the original Mu-Tron iii.

Sounds good, eats batteries, 12v sucks.
this thing sounds AMAZING. But whoever designed the battery compartment is a dip$hit because it takes me about 15 minutes to jam TWO 9v batteries in this thing. It's also has a 12v input which I think is stupid, why not just make it 9v?? This thing EATS batteries (less than two weeks for two 9v batteries if you are gigging) and it would be in your best interest to order an obscure 12v for this... Design flaws....

Great Pedal! Sounds Awesome!
This pedal is awesome! it's such a classic sound. Pay no attention to people claiming this product isn't great or doesn't deliver compared to the original. Its great, easy to use, lots of tone options, and sounds so cool.
