Cuando pedí el libro pensé que iba a venir con layouts para poder facilitar mi trabajo, pero mas bien es una recopilación de fotos de varios álbum, mas sin embargo, trae un CD y ahí es donde vienen las paginas que yo necesitaba, trae muchas ideas para acomodar las fotos la verdad si me fue de mucha utilidad el Cd. Aunque no es practico lo del Cd por que tengo que tener prendida la computadora siempre que estoy trabajando en mi álbum, me hubiera gustado que vinieran esas paginas mejor en libro.

I'm an aspiring scrapbooker and he Memory Makers books have been an invaluable source of inspiration for me. The freedom of expression unleashed in this volume collected from Memory Makers contributors is staggering and a far cry from the traditional layout and design techniques I learned so many years ago. The editors have compiled the collection in five chapter organized "by the most popular topics seen in scrapbooks". Both analog and digital designs are displayed. While mos certainly not a how-to book, each page does have a listing of the materials used, which is helpful. Many of the pages harbor a very personal gestalt, the sum of the parts becoming an inseparable whole. Going through here, I am inundated with ideas, restrained only by the knowledge that I must crawl before I walk. This collection (and the additional materials on the CD) provide me with a good part of the education I need.Jerry

This book had a tremendous amount of great ideas to use in my scrapbooking collection. Thank you for such a wide variety of examples.

This 224 page book is filled with innovative ideas for scrapbooking. Designed for traditional scrapbookers, it is still a wealth of ideas that can be imitated by anyone adept with their own digital scrapbooking software. Most pages contain two illustrations of contributor's scrap pages. These well-laid-out examples provide a list of needed materials for those who wish to produce a traditional scrapbook, and will inspire digital scrapbookers to create professional looking digital pages. I thumb through this book when I need a new idea for pages. I have a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS4 and use that program to create my pages, backgrounds and embellishments. For helpful suggestions on how to make backgrounds and embellishments I use Creative Scrapbooking With Your Computer also by Memory Makers Books.

Great deal and nice quality book.

Every time I get stuck with a page I reach for this book. There are so many different layouts that there's always something that helps me to get over my "scrapper's block". There's also a short description on the inspiration and construct behind each page. The reason I didn't give this five stars is that I would have liked to see the pages grouped by style (eg heritage, contemporary, richly embellished) instead of theme, now the truly great pages get too easily lost between the pages that don't inspire me the least.

This is definitely eye candy, loads of lovely colors and the book is laid out beautifully. But when I really looked at the pages and layouts, I found a great deal of repetition, and nothing really new. I walked away and picked it up again. Nope. It did not end up being one of the idea books I return to time and again unfortunately. But it is eye candy. The DVD rom is sort of fluff as the pages are not as good as what's in the book.

Bought this as a gift for my wife ( to add to her collection!!!) she was delighted. She said it is one of the best books she has read on scrapbooking, she hasn't looked at the cd yet she is still working her way through the book.

This book is stuffed full of gorgeous layouts all grouped by theme. It has provided me with delicious bedtime reading as I went through each and every page and then serious inspiration as I dip into it when I'm stuck for ideas. Great for those who have been scrapbooking for a while and want fresh designs to incorporate. Equally great for beginners who want to see finished products (not an instruction guide for beginners though).

Received my book quickly from seller, no problem there. Sadly disappointed with the contents of this book. There may be 650 ideas but I would be unlikely to use many of them. It is lacking in content insomuch as it concentrates mostly on modern themes, omitting older Grandparents, weddings (not modern) black and white photos etc. Many scrapbookers are in the upper age brackets and are looking for ideas to show their history - not to be found in this book. However, it would be ofuse to younger people. The previous book I purchased from Amazon was a great investment. Used all the time.

I used few ideas in the memory book I made for my daughter. Probably not a value for money as I would have found those ideas online if I had more time to google them. It arrived immediately.

This is a fascinating book for a beginner like myself. It is very informative with excellent pictures and clear instructions. It has many different situations covered and is a great inspiration. Fantastic, well done.
